Is the porthole glass enclosed or is it open?

I’ve never received an offer for a comped cabin but will play more on the next cruise to see if that generates anything. Question: If you do get a comped cabin does that include your spouse also? Or does the spouse have to pay a fare?

I remember reading a thread a while ago about how to determine if the bed in a stateroom is next to the bathroom or the balcony. I tried searching for it but couldn’t find it. Does anyone remember the method? I’ll soon be booking a cruise on the Reflection and would like a room that has the bed next to the bath. Thanks for the help.
