    Marina Private Dinner for 2

I believe there is only one per sailing. If you want to do it book it right away. We missed out for our sailing.

    Vow Renewal on Motu Mahana

Success! We booked the Vow Renewal!! The PG rep I spoke with also mentioned that there is a special dining opportunity. It's dinner for 2 on the marina on the back of the ship. Only 1 per sailing. Our sailing's booking was already taken. Just an FYI in case you hadn't heard about it. I'm new to PG, so forgive me if this is old news.

    Vow Renewal on Motu Mahana

We recently booked our first PG cruise for our 30th. Love the idea of a vow renewal. Thanks for the heads up on this. I think I'm going to try to book this for our July sailing.

What Cruise Line is Right for me?

I've been on 3 different cruise lines and would recommend all of them. Royal Caribbean and Norwegian are similar in the type of clientele, costs, itineraries. Wide variety of people on board from families to couples to singles. Definitely not the young party crowd. We also did a European cruise on Oceania. Costs more but includes more. The guests tend to be middle age and older. Fewer families with children. Like I mentioned, all 3 have given us great experiences.

    Drink Package Question

    That's wonderful! Thanks Sitzmark. :)
  9. I want to get one of the packages that includes alcoholic beverages, but my DH doesn't drink and would only get the soda/juice/coffee package. Does RCI require that all people get the alcohol package if only one is going to use it? Or can he have one package and I have a different package? Anyone ever come across this situation? TIA

    Independence Cabin Question

Just booked a stateroom on the hump. Thanks all! I appreciate your input. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
  11. I will be booking a balcony stateroom on Independence for next July for my niece's wedding. I'd like the larger superior balcony stateroom and remember seeing something on the boards here about the "bump" cabins, but couldn't locate the information in a search. Are these more desirable due to their location on the ship? I know one of the decks has the superior balcony rooms on the bump and want to book one if it is worth it. Or doesn't it matter? TIA

What to do on Hilo and Kailua Kona, Hawaii

I would highly recommend taking a Blue Hawaiian helicopter tour over the area. We saw coffee plantations, macadamia fields, and it is the absolute best view of the magnificent volcano! Totally worth it!!

Accomodations Suggestions for Rome - post cruise

We stayed at the Hotel Concordia. It is located between the Spanish Steps (metro stop) and the Trevi Fountain. Small-ish rooms, but normal for Europe. We booked through Hotels.com and got a great rate. Private bathrooms with shower. The view from the rooftop (where they serve an included continental style breakfast) was beautiful. The metro stop at the steps took us to the Vatican and Colosseum. Close walking to Piazza Navonna, Pantheon.
