I will also be on that cruise and worries about my parents traveling with us.  Im not worried about my family or the kids but yes the quarantine is what is scaring me because we are in an inside cabin.  My biggest regret now.  I may have to cancel and take the penalties if things dont get better.

I have similar fears that there could be a quarantine and I would be stuck on the boat...

  2. Thanks everyone for all the great suggestions. We talked to the head waiter and she was able to take care of us. We got ordered breakfast and dinner a day in advance. We also were able to order desserts for lunch and dinner. For lunch my son stuck to hot dogs which were safe. The cruise staff handled this problem very very well and my family was very grateful. :D

  3. I’m on the Anthem as well. There is a host of dumb problems... if you have kids who were excited for the Xbox area, tell them it’s broke. When I tried to talk to staff they laughed and told me they know it is broke. When I asked about fixing it they said “a technician will fix it in a couple of days.” I never knows there were certified Xbox technicians. There is a bunch of other things that I’ll save for my review later. I done several cruises and this is definitely not one of the top ones. There are some good things, but the bad thing are so easily fixable and when staff laugh about it it makes me mad. I work hard and spent a lot of money on this trip. I’d expect better service... sorry for the rant

  4. I know this is last minute, but things have been a bit hectic recently. My 7 year old has a tree nut, peanut and raw egg (mayo) allergy. How hard will it be in windjammer to find nut free options? Does anyone who has peanut or tree nut allergies been on the Anthem of the seas and have some advice for me? Any info from any RCCL cruise would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the last minute post as we set sail tomorrow!

PS It is the first cruise for my 7 year old and 5 year old!

  5. I am looking at some options for the day my cruise is in port in the Bahamas in 2018. My wife and I originally planned to take our 5 and 7 year old to Atlantis to play at the water park but there are some complications. The first is Royal Caribbean has a height requirement that neither of my children will likely hit by then. Has anyone else brought younger kids who were below the height requirement and been able to get in?

Second, the cost is crazy! Over $660 for a family of 4! Any body have some other options or suggestions if we don't do Atlantis for the day?

  6. Wow, it's been a while since I've been on here. Maybe close to 8 years! Glad to be back! I just booked a cruise for 4 on Anthem of the Seas in March of 2018. I'd love to hear some tips about the food. We have two toddlers and plan to avoid the restaurants with fees. I'm open to trying some if everyone thinks there is a can't miss one. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
