Yep.. even a third.grader knows FTTF is a waste of money! [emoji12]
Have you used it?

Faster to the flatulence
What is this? 3rd grade?

The rate you booked has nothing to do with your final payment due date. You need to call your TA and ask what rate you are booked under. If it is early saver and your final payment date hasn't arrived yet, you can match to the guarantee rate.
Yeah, it kind of does. If the OP's total amount was due at the time of booking, that means she did not book Early Saver because it would be too close to the sailing date.

I would love to take advantage of this sale, but we have a 3 year old and would need a room where the 3rd bed is a sofa bed, not an upper. I guess a GTY room just isn't for us.
Maybe the room steward would bring a trundle in for you...?

We had a similar situation last year on the Elation and it was not a problem at all.
Initially, there were 2 families of 4 going on the cruise. The other set of parents and I decided to get a 3rd cabin to put our 4 daughters in and each set of parents had their own cabin. A little later, another family decided to go on the cruise with us. They had one daughter who is good friends with our daughters and she wanted to hang out in our girls' cabin for sleepovers. So, she did pretty much every night. Our steward even brought a trundle in for the 5th person in a 4 person room. We had the same steward for all 4 cabins, so that probably helped, too.

find it sad that the Chanukiah has to be hidden off to the side and is treated like a circus by non-Jews. Look kids, lets watch those people celebrate their holiday surrounded by all the Christmas decorations while having to listen to constant Christmas music.
And you know it's like this on the ship how?
I take offense because they probably don't know what Hanukkah even means!I am intolerant of the in your face publicness if all things Christian especially the holidays that pervade even my kids pubic schools.
This sense of Christian entitlement is very offensive to me.
It sounds to me like you somewhat enjoy being offended and look for reasons to be so. Good luck with that.

If I understand you correctly, you want to upgrade for the price you saw during the Halloween sale? If that is your question then, No, the sale is over.
What you might be able to do is upgrade your cabin but it would be at todays price.
Yes, you understood my question perfectly. Thanks so much for your reply! :)

I booked under the 36-hour Halloween sale. I got my cabin assignment today and am perfectly fine with it (Inside, midship, Upper Deck). However, I have a little extra money now that I did not have when I booked the trip. At the time of booking, I could have upgraded from an Inside to an Oceanview for $80. Would I still be able to do that now (for $80) since the sale is over and the cabin and has assigned?

I must say the poster who said they had theirs taken is the first I ever heard of it. In fact many sites about cruising as a tip tell you to take one. I have on our last four cruises.
I've taken one on every single cruise I've been on and never had it confiscated UNTIL my most recent cruise in May 2014.
-
My last cruise, fttf only got on the ship 10 minutes faster. Not worth the $50pp
It's not $50 per person and there are more benefits than just getting on the ship early.

No, it specifically states no hats. It's not a suggestion. It's a restriction.
Where does it say that for MDR breakfast?

We used a dry erase board one time. We came back to the room and saw that someone had used our marker to draw a GIANT penis on our cabin door...not on the board...on the actual door! I took it down after that. Jerks.
Now, we use post-its and just hope no one takes them down.

Me, my husband and our 2 daughters cruises with another couple and their 2 girls two years ago. Each couple had their oceanview cabin and we put all 4 girls (ages 7, 8, 11, 11) in a cabin across the hall. No adult was listed on their reservation. It was very simple.

A marriage license is not listed on Carnival's site or the Homeland Security's site about proper documentation. If the ML is needed, it would be listed.
10 cruises so far and I've never been asked for a ML.
Yes, a majority of women will have a different last name on their BC and their DL. But, a Marriage License is needed to get the new name on the DL. The cruise agents and other powers that be know that you don't just go into the DMV and ask for a new last name for the heck of it. They know that proper documentation was shown to get the new DL, therefore, that cancels out the need for them to see the ML when boarding a cruise ship.

I booked my January 2015 Dream cruise back in June and FTTF has been sold out since then.
-
Never needed it and have never been asked for it. It's also not on the list of required documents on Carnival's site.

I ordered mine on Monday morning around 10:00 and just got the promo card in my email! yay!!
-
I am a TA and have had NO problem applying GC's to my clients' reservations through our website. I just did this two times yesterday actually.
-
The promotion started on the 4th I believe. Not sure why some wait until the last second to take advantage of promotions. You snooze you loose.
It's not always so black and white. Many people (myself included) get paid every other week on Fridays. Put the money in the bank on Saturday, but it's not available to be spent until the bank opens back up on Monday. So, to pretend like you know everyone's situation and to make judgments based on that is pretty arrogant.

Mo Bay = No
Grand Cayman = Yes
Thanks so much!

Are Montego Bay & Grand Cayman tender ports? I am trying to decide if FTTF would be worth the purchase with these stops. Thanks!

John Heald just posted this:
Although the Father`s Day Offer ended at 12:am June 16th, we will honor all eligible purchases made up until 11:59pm on June 16th.
cheers

I'm not finding his post reassuring. However, since I'll use the card anyway I guess I have nothing to lose in buying one.
I'm hanging on to any shred of hope I can get at this point! lol

I can't find that post. Only a post that he is investigating.
It's on Leanne Reeson-Ireland's post. She posted about 4 hours ago and he posted about 30 minutes ago. She attached a screen shot from the gift card website that shows the Father's Day banner still at the top.

Amen, amen and amen! Gosh, I hope my repeated use of the word "Amen" does not offend anyone...since it's religious and all.
