  1. We are also on the May 4th sailing of the Jade (assuming she gets our of drydock before our cruise! I'm a bit worried about that). Have you received any documents? We leave next Saturday and haven't gotten out documents yet. Our TA said they are running behind and will email the docs.

I don't know the answers to your questions as it is our first time on Scenic also.

I would suggest that you go to YouTube and search for “RSSC Mariner deluxe/concierge suite” and do the same for Voyager.  Just choose a more recent video (last 2 - 3 years), so that you are looking at the most recent decor/refurb. This will give you a good sense of the space, and then you can compare to the other lines that you have sailed on.

Thank you for the suggestion! The concierge suite seems much smaller in the video than it looked on the layout on the RSSC website.

  3. We were on the Enchanted earlier this month. The day before we were to stop at St. Thomas the captain announced that we were not being allowed to stop because of Covid cases on board. They arranged for us to stop at Grand Turk instead.

I’m  wondering about our next cruise, as we are scheduled  to stop in Puerto Rico, but from what I’ve read, PR requires everyone to have a Covid test within 48 hours of the stop.

  4. Hi - we will be on a b2b on the Sky soon. Is the medallion from week 1 also used for week 2? If so, we didn’t order ones for week 2, so I assume we would get them while we are on the week 1 cruise.  When I look in the app, it says our cruise is for the whole 2 weeks, so my guess is we don’t need different ones for the second week. Is that correct? Thanks! Patti

  5. We will have a group of 10 on the Sky Princess. A lot of the tours have sold out. I was wondering about setting up private tours through Princess. The info I found said you can travel in a car, van, or minibus. Has anyone used the Princess private tours? I’m guessing it would be similar to getting a cab for an island tour, but that Princess guarantees your return to the ship. If you have done this, is it a lot more expensive than a normal Princess excursion? Do we have to call Princess ahead of the cruise to arrange it? I couldn’t find any info on how to book the private excursions.

  6. We have a group of 10 going on the Sky Princess in February. I am unable to reserve the steak house for 10 people unless we are seated at multiple tables. Does anyone know why? Is it because there isn't a way for them to push tables together to seat 10? Or some other reason? We really wanted to go there for my birthday...

  7. Hi everyone -

We used to like to sail in the Caribe deck balcony cabins because the balconies were deeper and were partially in the shade from the deck above which overhung Caribe deck. Is that true for the Royal class ships? We haven't been in a port or starboard cabin on a Royal class ship - only in stern cabins. TIA!

Ali ~ yes, I let several people know that a Playbill type sheet on Eden and the cast would really be helpful.  Right now, the majority of the guests have no idea what's happening or why.  A little synopsis would go a long way.  I loved the kids in the cast and I think passengers would enjoy knowing a little bit about them and their characters.  It should be an easy fix and help everyone enjoy the show more.

Perhaps the solution could be a printed synopsis that could be laminated and placed on each table in the venue just prior to the start of the show. It would save on paper, wouldn’t take up room in the daily program, and would give those watching it some idea of what is going on and who the characters are...

  9. We will be on the Regal Princess in a suite for 2 weeks in January. We are both platinum Captain's Circle members which means we will get 250 minutes per person internet time. I'm trying to verify these things:

    - Even though we are in a suite, we will not get any free internet - is this correct? I know we get it on some other lines.

    - There is currently a deal where I can get unlimited internet for the 2 weeks for $99.99 - "MedallianNet premium package". I understand that when I sign on to the internet on-board the ship, as a Platinum member I will be given the opportunity to upgrade to more minutes. How does this on-board offer compare to the premium package that I can currently purchase online? Does anyone know the cost and other details when purchasing the upgrade on-board?

    - Where do Suite guests dine for lunch and dinner on the Regal? If I remember correctly, breakfast is in Sabatini's - is that still correct?

    - I almost exclusively drink water - do suite occupants have a place to get drinks throughout the day for free, or do I need a drink package?

Thanks for any help you can give me!
