Saw it on the Dream years ago. No longer done.

Loved the Jergen's Overnight Repair lotion. Have been buying it ever since I used the free sample on the Dream.

Thanks for the great review and photos. We are sailing on Glory in February 2017 so I am reading reviews in anticipation. Do you remember if they served the dessert Bitter & Blanc one night? I loved it on our Carnival Magic cruise and hope they still have it.

I saw a great approach - someone removed a towel, book, sunglasses and bottle of sunblock from a lounger which had been vacant for at least half an hour - just left all the stuff on the deck and pulled the lounger to a different area: it was interesting watching the frustrated pouts on the face of the hog who had no one to blame when she showed up.
Love it. Problem solved with no confrontation.

I emailed them last week inquiring about purchasing day passes for cruise passengers, but never got a response.

Of the 5 cruise lines we have tried, I think Princess has the best food. I know that is a subjective opinion, but I still remember individual dishes I enjoyed even though our last Princess cruise was in 2011.

Colo Cruiser, this vital dessert information was unknown to me. This may solve my nightly sadness at having to choose between 2 desserts that I want.
-
Colo Cruiser, thanks for the tip. But if it is a choice between skipping dessert or making the show, dessert will win every time, lol.

Thanks for the responses. We will keep the 6:00 dining time and plan on attending the 8:00-ish show. Then we still have entertainment options after that.
-
Our choices for traditional dining times on Ruby (7-night Mexican Riviera) are 5:30 and 6:00. What time do the early shows begin? Can we make the early show with a 6:00 dining time? What time do the later shows begin?
-
We are also trying to decide which cruise line for Mexican Riviera. Choices for the week of our vacation are Ruby Princess or Norwegian Jewel. We love the entertainment and activities on NCL, but we love the food and service on Princess. Can't go wrong either way, it is just hard to make a decision.

By the way, it would have cost $89.00 additional dollars to return the LAX rental car to the Westin Long Beach instead of Torrance! I'll never figure out the rental car game. But I don't have to as long as these forums exist.

All set thanks to the helpful folks on this board. Booked a one way minivan for the 5 of us from LAX for the day before the cruise. Hubby will drop us and all the luggage at the port on sailing day and then return the car in Torrance, CA. By coincidence we already had a hotel booked in Torrance. Just downloaded the Uber app and the quote from Torrance to the port in San Pedro was $12-$16. Really appreciate all the responses.
-
Kenish, is Uber available in Torrance, CA? I just found out hubby can return the rental car to the Avis in Torrance. Then he would need a Uber ride to the port in San Pedro.
-
Kenish, I hadn't considered Uber; thanks for the tip. I see Uber cars here in Nashville, but have not needed one.

Putterdude, I agree that the Westin drop off sounds best for us. It is the shortest time and least trouble for my husband. And if the cab is $25.00 that is not much more than the shuttle from LAX, with a lot less hassle. Thanks.
-
Astro Flyer, I wish we could use Enterprise in San Pedro, but they are closed on Sunday. I find that strange, since most ships depart on either Saturday or Sunday. It would certainly simplify things if Enterprise was an option for us.
-
Thanks for the response. I will make sure not to pack his documentation in my carry on bag and all will be well.
-
Is it okay for my husband to check in and board separately from me at the San Pedro, California port? He is arriving later and I will be boarding earlier with friends. He will have his passport, cruise ticket/boarding documents and credit card with him so will that work?
-
Hubby is dropping 4 of us at the San Pedro port on a Sunday, then returning the rental car and taking a transfer back to the port.
1. He can return the car back to LAX and take a $17.00 shared ride Super Shuttle back to San Pedro. How long will that take him after he drops us off?
2. He can return the car to Long Beach airport and take a $45.00 cab to San Pedro. How long will that take?
3. He can return the car to the Westin Hotel on E. Ocean Blvd. in Long Beach and take a $30.00 cab to San Pedro. How long will that take?
If my prices are incorrect, please advise. Thanks in advance.

Do the tour guides accept the U.S. currency, or do we need to get Bermuda dollars? We have a tour booked with Colin next week.

I loved the SatinCare in-shower moisturizer sample. It made my skin soft all day.
