Thanks for all the info and pix. Did you notice if there are any tables for 8 in the dining rooms?

Thanks for the info. I’m thinking Sunday traffic should be light.

We will be doing a Boston round trip in July.
how far is the Boston airport to the ship ?
thanks in advance. -
Thanks again for all the great info.

Thanks for all this info.
How does one reserve for a party of eight ? -
I’m so excited to be sailing on my first Crystal cruise in September. I’m not sure how you book the specialty restaurants. Am I too early to reserve? Am I restricted to only a certain amount per venue ?

Thanks for your thoughts on the Emerald. We are booked on her in July and was a little concerned about her age.
great picture too. -
I have to concur about too much noise between connecting cabins. We were on the Royal and I would not book connecting cabins again. Not horrible, but annoying.

Thank you so much for taking us on your world adventure. You are always so positive and grateful that you are able to go on another grand adventure. Looking forward to reading along.

Keith,
Thank you for sharing your experiences on this cruise and the effort you put into providing the various pictures, daily reflections and Waterside menus. Much appreciated! It looked like a fantastic cruise in every way.
We were already booked on the Serenity Quebec City to New York late September, and your feedback as well as others we have been reading motivated us to book the Vancouver-Vancouver cruise in early July! The suite upgrade was very enticing…and frankly I am just impatient to experience Crystal for the first time!
Have a safe trip home and looking forward to our upcoming cruises with Crystal!
Bob
Well I have the same sentiments about Keith’s blog. I have learned so much from all his experiences on Crystal, so another big thank you to Keith.
ps. Bob, I think we might be on the same cruise at the end of September. This will be our first Crystal cruise. We were booked, but then The old Crystal went bankrupt. We are very excited.- 2

Someone posted a set lunch menu that doesn’t change. It looks great with a lot of great choices. My favorite menu on Princess is the embarkation lunch, shrimp and avacado, lemon butter dill salmon and orange soufflé. Will they still serve that on embarkation???
too funny…… that is exactly what I order on embarkation. Great way to start my cruise.- 1

Ps
i have done 3 other fall cruises out of New York and everyone has been while the UN has been in session. How did I ever forget that mess ,

Thank you so much for your advice. I was thinking I might be a little too optimistic about an 11:30 departure. I’m going to sfo so there are a lot of non stops. I think the 3: 00 sounds more doable.

Thanks for all the info. I usually fly United so Newark sounds the best choice. I would like to book a 11:30 flight. Does this sound reasonable?

How exciting. You are always one of my favorite bloggers. I know you will enjoy every minute.

We will be on the September serenity cruise ending in New York. I’m looking at air options and was wondering where the Serenity will dock.

I will respectfully disagree with Bill B. If I am on a Pinnacle Class ship, I want Club Orange.
not for the perks but for that dining room. The MDR on the pinnacle class ships are very loud IMO - hard to hear even the companion next to you let alone anyone else.
the ambience in the CO dining room is very nice - peaceful, good service and good food. I’ve used CO once to upgrade my cabin & it worked well but last time my cabin had already been chosen and after experiencing the difference in the dining room, I knew I wanted CO again.
It’s all subjective of course but for me that dining room is a must.
Oh and let’s not forget the coveted tote bag 😂
these are my thoughts exactly. The dining room is worth every penny. Of course certain suites have this perk already. -
I loved club orange , less people and better service.

Here goes:
Deposit is $25% of the total charge.
Final payment due 120 days prior to sailing date.
Keith
Thank you for the info. I lost my deposit when the original Crystal went bankrupt so I’m a little leery about how soon I put down my deposit. It is encouraging to hear about the new crystal and how much everyone loves the experience.

Deck 6 Da Vinci DR, Starboard side. Club Class has been renamed Reserve Class.
Thanks for the info.

Thanks for all this info. We are sailing in July too. Is there a separate area for club class dining? I have sailed the Emerald, but several years ago.
-
So there is not a separate entrance or area for club ora.
-
You have Club Orange since you have a suite. Fabulous experience.

Thanks everyone for the info. So will I have to reserve a larger table when I get on board or have my TA try and book it ahead.
