  1. I was also in the theater when this problem occurred. They originally announced that they hoped to have the problem corrected very shortly, after about 10 minutes we were ask to leave the theater because of the water line breakage above us and to prevent any injuries. RC did an excellent job of keeping everything under control. I am just very thankful that no one was injured.

  2. I just returned today from the Serenade of the seas. We brought 2 bottles of wine with us as well as a case if water. The wine we carried directly thru security with no problems and the case of wine we tagged it with our luggage and it arrived with no problem.

  3. I sailed this ship back in May 2014 and was not impressed. Side note: I have sailed multiple times on Carnival on the Sensation/Fascination so I might be spoiled. But this shipped seemed very small to me and I did have issues with motion sickness during the cruise as well as several others in our group of 22. With me it doesn't take a lot of motion for me to get sick - I can get sick in a car - but for my daredevils (husband and 18 yr old Daughter who is a college cheerleader/flyer) them getting sick says a lot. Just be prepared for it. My motto "Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it"

  4. Did they learn any English? :)

They definitely learned how to all get into trouble. They did learn some very interesting words and so did I. 😳. I also was given the opportunity to teach a couple of them about what was appropriate to say in front of a southern lady. Hehe

  5. Bottom line is you are your child's parent. You know your child better than anyone and it's your choice as a parent. I will tell you this, a couple of years ago I went to my child's school - she was a sophomore in high school and requested special permission to take my child on an educational adventure to study the effects of H2O in a frozen state as well as how altitude effects the H20. 😊 Not only was permission granted but the school counselor volunteered to accompany us, if needed - she said she would like to study thermal energy levels in the lodge. Haha. Needless to say the trip created more memories than ever would have been at school and thanks to a 3 page essay on her experience the days were forgiven and not counted against her. Her Junior year she missed several days and we went to Italy. Now this trip is still paying off as she is now in college - the history learned and the art lessons are still being used today.

  6. Not only do I keep a photo copy if my passport in the room when traveling but I also take a photo of all of my families passports with my smart phone. I do this with all my cruise documents as well. This way it is easy for me to email a copy to my family at home ( just in case) and I have ease of access in an emergency.
