The steakhouse on the Sunshine had no tablecloths last month, it did not take a thing away from my wonderful meal or service.

We really liked the Sunshine, no crowding problems at all. The design with food and entertainment venues spread out works really well and no area is crowded. People are spread across many areas at all times.

I would stay on Empress, you will never have to use an elevator. Everything is 1-3 floors up. We have had Empress PTs on all our Fantasy class sailings.

We have been on 3 different Fantasy class ships. The décor is very much different, though the layout are nearly identical. I would do a different ship for similar cost/drive times if I could.

If you are willing to get a Rewards card and gamble at least 30 minutes, you can park for free at Harrahs.

Elation's buffet is all on one level, in my experience it will be crowded throughout.

One of my favorite areas of a Fantasy class ship is the outside aft area near the buffet. It is a great place to eat pulling into a port or on a sea day.

Carnival stopped going there when they left Mobile. Once every 2 weeks the Mobile ship went to Calica. We liked on our trips PDC is a very nice place to visit.

Myself & 2 friends are going on the Conquest 9-1-13. Two of us have been on cruise before so will have invite to the past guest party, so are you saying we can take our newbie friend with us, and they will let her in?? Thanks so much for your review.

What was once the Past Guest Party is now a party for Gold and higher cruisers. Must have cruised 25 days on Carnival to be invited now.

Anyone been on the Conquest since the 2.0 upgrades? Can you tell me if they added an adult only area or serenity deck??? We are thinking of booking the repositioning cruise Nov 16 2013 :):) The port of calls look great. Have never been on a ship that didn't have a serenity deck tho and not sure if this will be a problem. Would love to hear for anyone that has been on the Conquest :) thanks :D

I believe that the aft pool and hot tubs are adult only, but with the pizza back there there are always alot of kids in that area.

It has been a couple of years since I have been there. This is what I remember. There are a few shops right on the pier. Then everyone gets on a bus and rides into town on buses, the pier is several miles long someone said it is possibly the longest in the world. The bus will take you to a flea market with an assortment of trinkets. This is alot of fun, vendors are very friendly. There are also several shops near the flea market. The beach and a multitude of resturants are just a few blocks away. The food and drink here is wonderful and priced very affordable. I hope yall have a great trip.
