  1. We will be flying into the Heathrow airport a day before our cruise starts. Would like to visit Bath. Thinking of hiring a car transfer for the 2 of us. We are flying to Heathrow airport from an overnight flight from Canada, so would not consider taking the train or coach after that. Could anyone suggest a reasonable car transfer company that we can hire to take us from Heathrow airport to a hotel in Bath. And the next day from Bath to Southampton to start our cruise. Any reasonable clean hotels in Bath that is within walking distance to visit the major sites in Bath you can recommend? What are the must see in Bath? Thank you.
  2. We like to do some ballroom dancing when possible. The last 2 Princess cruises we were on recently, they have a pre-recorded ballroom music session in one of the lounges every night. Is this venue offered on the Island Princess at all? Do any of the live bands play any ballroom music during their set so we can do an occasional Waltz, Foxtrot, etc? Is there a lot of other social dancing during this cruise? Any Princess daily activity schedule you can post here is welcome. Thanks in advance.

  4. We are doing a single 14 day segment. I believe there is no testing requirement to enter England. But everyone needs a negative test to get on the ship. Is there a mid cruise testing for a single 14 day segment? Would there be a test to enter England when the ship gets back to Southampton at the end of the cruise? We are flying home to Canada on the same day the cruise ends, and there is no requirement for a negative test to enter Canada for fully vaccinated people. So I don't suppose we need a test to get off the ship to enter England?
  5. We are sailing on the Enchanted Princess for 14 days next week. Just heard that some cruise lines have a mandatory "Mid Cruise Covid Testing" that you have to do, say on the 7 or 8 day of your 14 day cruise. Has anyone recently gone on the Enchanted Princess or any Other Princess cruises that are 14 days in duration in Europe that they have to do this test? It's the first time I heard about it, so it's a bit of a surprise to us. Just want to know what to expect. Please also share your experience if you have recently sailed on the Enchanted Princess, especially if there is any dance venue for ballroom dancing. Thank you in advance.
  6. We are planning on a cruise in May and need a negative test to get on. Has any folks managed to get a "Letter Of Recovery" in Toronto? If we have tested positive on our home test kit, and have recovered, but keep getting a positive test from the home test kit. I read that if you can show a positive test result, and more than 10 days have passed, you can get one of these letter of recovery from a clinic. They usually charge about $50? for it. But the situation is, the clinics or Shoppers that do the Covid test, it says that you should be asymptomatic when you walk into the door. So ethically, it is not a good idea to walk into the clinic when we show no symptoms but still showing positive on a home test. We need an official positive test so we can use it to apply for this letter of recovery so we can get on a ship. On the other hand, I wonder if we are sailing on Princess, if just a positive test result that is older than 11 days is sufficient. But either way, need to get a official positive test to show the cruise line.
