  1. I got a phone call after I had emailed them. They gave no indication when the site would be up and running properly. They thou said they could help me by phone. I am now wondering how long it will take them to go thru all the excursions with me. I never got a chance to ask as they left a message on my answering machine.

    Perfect thanks pictures are a thousand words. Now if you have your cabin door closed, does the key that you use from the hallway also open up the cabin door. Or do they have a way to keep the cabin doors unlocked, so you can have a little bit of privacy by closing them.

  3. I didn't mean it to be strong, or insulting. It's too easy to "blame the site" even after things have been fixed, and give up. Things have been corrected, but you do have to "re-learn" things if you're used to doing things a certain way.

     

    I can log in and see the proper excursions for all of my port days. I also see excursions that are inappropriate, but only before I click "Manage your reservation". Afterwards, it's working fine. I do get locked out if I close the window without logging out, but that's a security thing; they don't want someone else "stealing" your session. Log out by using the "log out" link.

     

    I'm not saying it's perfect, but many of the issues here are not being seen by everyone on this thread, where the default opinion is that the site is horrible. I suspect that while Celebrity is getting plenty of complaints from us, they are also getting plenty of bookings by people who are navigating the site just fine.

     

    Site might work fine for you but is not working fine for a lot of us. Mine worked fine an hour ago and then totally quit working. I did not leave the site so what do I have to re-learn.

  4. I am looking into hotels for a cruise out of Miami. I need 2 nights stay. As I have never been to Miami I am wondering if I put in for the area of downtown and/or the financial district, the hotel I get will be close to the cruise port. Or should I just stay within the downtown area. I want to use the express deal. I don't want the money that I save on a hotel to go to a hefty taxi fare to the cruise ship. Could anyone that uses priceline help me out. Coming from Canada with the exchange hotel prices seem fairly high so hoping to save a bit of money using priceline. Any help appreciated.

  5. I would imagine that any hotel in the downtown area will have a lot of shopping for my pre-cruise wine run, and stuff that I forgot to pack.

     

    As we have never cruised out of Miami before I know nothing about the area. I gather most people stay in the downtown section for their cruise. My question is: Is there any hotel that I should stay away from booking? We are coming from Canada (with the very poor dollar) so we will be there for 2 nights before the cruise and do not want to get caught in a bad hotel. Any info on hotels for October will be very much appreciated.

  6. OK just checking if I understand this. This is the first time I have ever heard about coupons. I will be doing a TA cruise, so from what I understand (and correct me if I am wrong). IF they use coupons, I will be able to use them at any bar/lounge at anytime through out the day? Or is there a time limit (5-7) that they can be used.

  7. If I book my flight with choice air from Rome does this give me transport to the airport from the ship? Or do I have to make my own arrangements?

     

    If I have to make my own arrangements does anyone remember approx cost in dollars.

  8. We will be landing in Rome on the Reflection in May 2018. I can't seem to find on celebrity website if they offer a post cruise package. We will not be able to do a pre cruise package as our cruise is a B2B2B.

     

    Does anyone know if it is offered and if it is where I can find it on the website. Thanks

  9. I booked at b2b and do not have to change rooms, so my question is do I have to go and get a new room card for the second cruise or will I still be able to use the same one.? Do I still have to go and do all the paperwork again, or do I just get to stay on the ship and do nothing?

     

    Can someone tell me all steps to a b2b.

  10. 2 4 the Road appears to be 1 and Done. They've had a little time and some feedback and I wonder what they are thinking.

     

    I can totally understand why the OP is not commenting back, this thread is getting nasty.

     

    OP I can totally understand your frustration and I am sorry that you are getting many negative comments. Sometimes you just want to vent and apparently here is not the place to do it. I apologize.
