Will be following, we are thinking about this cruise for next year.  Can I ask why you had to take two tests?

We are cruising out of Tampa in January and have not received our room number yet.  Does anyone know if we can bring our luggage ourselves in the Tampa terminal?

HI,  we were in Costa Maya a few years ago and went to a beach and rented chairs from a Canadian who opened a restaurant on the water.  There was a book store right next to the restaurant. It was fairly close to the port.  At the time the taxi ride was only $4.00 each way.

Does anyone  know what the name of this place was or if it even exists anymore?

We will be cruising back to back cruises this January on Serenade of the Seas.  I was wondering what people do about their laundry.  The last time, I sent out my laundry on the 2nd part of the cruise and I did not get it back until a day before the end of the cruise.  That did not help the situation.  Has anyone left the the ship and have gone to a laundry mat.  If so let me know.  We dock in Fort Lauderdale.

I am currently on the Navigator and am having a real problem with the extra tipping on the bar tab. I have no problem with the daily tipping but there is already an 18% tip added to your drink cost. I bought an empty light up plastic glass today, they added the 18% service charge and the waitress was visibly disappointed that I did not add an additional tip.

The tipping is getting out of control. I do tip extra at the end of the cruise for our room steward and wait staff as long I feel that they have given good service.

Any thoughts?

I think some people should not cruise. I find either people love cruising or they hate it. I believe when you are on vacation, you should go with the flow. There will never be the perfect vacation. We do not sweat the small stuff and we try to enjoy every minute of our vacation.

I am booking the Chankannab dolphin excursion with RCCL. My husband does not want to swim with the dolphins but will go to the park. Does anyone know if RCCL offers a day at the park excursion?

I would like to know if anyone has booked the dolphin excursion with RCCL at Chankannab.

I have checked both sites. Chankannab is $119 US for adults ( includes snorkeling, buffet and park entrance.

RCCL is $115.00, includes transportation and park fee. Other than the buffet (which I am not interested in) it would seem that RCCL is a pretty good price.

Am I missing something? Previous threads say it is better to book directly with Chankannab Park.
