That is correct, the city bus will drop you off at the entrance to the Mendenhall park. It's a flat 1.5 miles walk on a paved walk to the visitor center from the entrance. The trail out to Nugget Falls is just to left of the visitor center, can't miss it. That path is a paved path, fairly flat. It'll be like a interstate freeway with people walking out to Nugget falls. Be sure to bring your senior National Park pass, it'll save you $5 on the bus ride should you use the White or Blue bus.

I just booked my parking at Seattle Cruise Park at the armory for our June 26th cruise on the Discovery Princess and I had to get the Valet parking option as they are full. I'm not to keen on giving them my keys but we'll see how it goes.

We almost always have a 11am check in time. Some people just don't get it. I've been to Pier 91 at 11am and it's an absolute zoo with people who aren't supposed to be there until 1pm or later.
