  1. Unfortunately some self entitled people ruin it for the ones in real need. I was at Disney Springs earlier today. There was a family there with a small dog with a “service dog” harness that they most likely purchased online  No way was that dog trained for anything but running in circles and begging for food. A real service dog would stick close to it’s human at all times to be alert for problems or to lend a paw. Shame on the cheaters that use fraudulent badges just to take their pet along.

  2. I have a friend that is a jewelry dealer. He keeps things in tiny ziplock pouches. That is what I do. Individual Pouches 1 for each earring if it contains any gems,  and then placed inside a ziplock sandwich bags to keep sets together. I do have several nice silk jewelry rolls but find this makes it easier to find the piece I want.  Like Nebr.cruiser, I do not take the good stuff along anymore. I do have a heck of a lot of nice costume jewelry that match my outfits and cheap bangles in every color that I wear.
whatever you use, please make sure that the stones can not touch each other to avoid chipping which will devalue your gems considerably.

I don’t know much about network cables, etc but I accidentally pulled out a drawer and what looked like ‘net stuff was there — antenna and such. Tried taking a pic but all components were black so nothing showed.

Cabin 7264. You will notice that the inside of the drawer is not as deep as it should be.

I got down on my arthritic knees and moved things around and got rid of some junk, it might just be the tv. Don’t know what the green things are for.

What looked like an antenna was not connected to anything. ☹️

Thanks @Host Clarea . All over wifi or is there a hidden network cable somewhere in the room?

Some on board are still not satisfied.

What do they expect? Free cruises for life?  They were “made whole “ by getting a full refund and a hotel for the 1 night that was not expected.

some people are just plain greedy and are a word that is unacceptable here.

We are still celebrating out on the balcony avoiding others.

Just curious- do they do anything special for people who had flights scheduled this weekend?  Do they help finding a hotel?  Do they pay for hotel?

There are extra personnel around the guest relations desk helping to get airline reservations and such changed. I don’t know if they are putting people up at a hotel.

Now to the follow up question. Do you use it to clean the elevator buttons before you touch them?  Or do you use a paper towel to press the buttons.  How do  you handle the lounges when you need to pull back a chair to sit.  I am sure thousands of people have touched that elevator button since it was last cleaned with any type of sanitizing solution.  Who knows about the various chairs you sit in.

In the past I used my knuckle to punch elevator buttons. Now I use the handle of my cane. This cruise I haven’t had to pull back any chairs, staff does it for me. The only lounge we have used this cruise is the Diamond and I haven’t had to adjust seats so far.   We have advanced Purell that gets used after sitting down anywhere. Washing, washing and sanitizing, my palms feel slick. You can’t even go into a shop aboard without using sanitizer.

At first I was upset that we weren’t seated with anyone else (hubby needed easy access seating) but now I am glad to be alone at a table. You just never know about other people’s habits.

I do have a pair of nitril gloves that I keep for my thrift shop treasure hunts but that might be a bit of overkill. If things get worse I may reconsider.
