  1. Hi:

I was trying to log my mother in law in for upcoming cruise and there was no option for enhanced drivers license. It is a NY license and we are traveling on the Jewel from Seattle to Alaska and Canada.

Does she also need her birth certificate?

    Thanks

  2. We were in a cove balcony on the Breeze in January. We then went on the Victory a few days later and had an aft facing balcony.

    First time for both.

Absolutely loved the cove. Very private, very close to the water. Never heard any noise from above.

Depending on the time of day, we did have some sun on our balcony.

The aft balcony was also wonderful. We were on deck seven so had afts above and below us. Kind of reminded me of laugh in with people poking their heads out at various times. There were plenty of times when we had shade on the balcony.

The views were amazing and the balcony was quite large.

I would definitely book a cove when available (have one booked on the Vista!!!!). If no cove I would go for the aft facing.

I don't think you can go wrong with either ome.

  3. My DH and I have been on 11 cruises and numerous land vacations involving the airlines.

We have rolling duffles from LL Bean and have only had minor ripss on one of the bags. The wheels are somewhat recessed and we usually have close to 50 pounds in each.

I feel very lucky after reading some of your experiences!

  4. If the cruise you want is not available - book something else. I booked 2 three day cruises and changed them to the cruises I wanted when they were available. The onboard credit will reflect the length of the cruise you eventually book.

Also the deposit is far less on a 3 day cruise. I don't know how it will affect the friends and family vouchers though.

  5. Hi- I have never seen this discussd on these boards.

My DH and I have inflatable stand up paddle boards. We are allowed to bring them on airplanes.

Wanted to know if we can bring them on the ship. They weigh about 25 pounds and will fit in our suitcase. If we can, I am assuming we would need to deflate them when returning to the ship.

If anyone has any information it would be appreciated.

    Thanks
