You dont even need to fold it. The bus drops and you can get on a ramp. Did it twice - super easy.

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to losing the WOW OBC if you change the ship or sail date?
On my main dashboard page, it says this:
Please note: Cruise or Cruisetour reservations with Onboard Credits can only be modified by calling 866-562-7625. You can, however, complete your Online Check-in and make reservations using our Pre-Cruise Planner. We booked our last trip during wow, and didn't have this then?

What's with the new change in not being able to modify a reservation if there's obc involved?

In the past, RCI & other lines have offered Black Friday "specials". Has anyone seen or heard about anything being offered this year?

Good read. We received a fcc as a compensation for an incident that will completely cover our trip next year. Sounds like a good excuse to upgrade our cabin!

I purposely left our DD off our 5 night reservation 2 years ago. A month before the trip, a Firefighter/EMT discount came up, and we were essentially able to bring our daughter for free. I think I saved me approximately $600, which was even better since she was 6 months old when we went on the cruise.

We were in 9618. Heard the piano and high heels in the middle of the night on two different nights. Irked me enough to grab 9318 for our trip this Thursday.

Our ship, RCCL Explorer of the Seas does not arrive until 12:15 p.m., on June 17th. Does Bernard's offer a group tour #2 for, late arriving ships? I think we might be the only ship, in St. Maarten, that day.
The private tour, for just 2 people, is too expensive.
Bella,
I don't know if you're subscribed to this thread, but you're welcome to join us on our private tour with Bernard. We're very flexable and a fun group of ppl.
Let me know!

If you really want to dive on your trip, I would try to get your basic open water done before the cruise. There's classroom and pool time involved that will cut into the trip.
If that's the route you want to go, have fun and be safe! Diving is an extremely rewarding hobby.

So.....
Talked to a kick ass rep. I was actually suppose to get nothing.
We booked this trip during the October wow sale, rep didn't catch it and put it through yesterday. Todays rep figured it out, but honored the $75 since they messed up.
In the end, I save $75 on the cruise on top of my resident rate and keep my $100 obc.

Hmm
I just had my platinum discount added for my 9 nt next month while adding our daughter to the reservation. My invoice only shows a $75 discount when it should have been $100.

So, I just found out that my 3 year old DD has a severe peanut allergy! I am freaking out right now thinking about managing that on a 9 day cruise! Is there anyone out there who can give me some help with this? I am not so worried about the MDR because I think it's easy enough to talk to the maître d and servers but I am extremely concerned about the buffets, café promenade, and any other eateries. It's not like we want to have a formal sit down meal every time we eat! Also, I guess eating in ports may be pretty much out of the question! Please help with any info or a point in the right direction! Thank you from a worried Mama!
You'll be fine. My wife has the same issue. First, call rccl or your ta to have them note your account with the allergy. Then email the special needs dept with your booking info and relevant info.
Ask to have all candy removed from your fridge when you meet your cabin attendant and wipe the counters down with wipes just to be safe.
In the mdr, remind your waiter and he/she will show you the next nights menu to help make choosing earlier.
In the promenade she''ll be ok with pizza. Wouldnt trust anything else there.
In the wj, find and talk to the chef there. Theyll help you as much as posdible to choose the safest options. You can't control cross contamination all the time.
In 5 years of cruising we haven't had a problem ( knock on wood ). Carry her epi pen, use common sense and have fun!

Hi All,
I am going on the Explorer May 25th to Bermuda (5 night cruise), I was wondering a few things:
1. Does anyone have the current Bermuda cruise compasses they can share?
2. Does anyone know the MDR menu order. I have the new MDR menus, I am just not sure of their order. Is Saffron day 1?
Any info would greatly be appreciated!!
Thanks!!
Check out Radio's LIVE thread that he just finished a few weeks ago. He posted the most current compasses!

I didn't think it was a difficult question!
Drinks usually range from $4-10 on average for mixed drinks. Obviously "top shelf" will cost a bit more.

I was on the February 17th sailing and was told by the Captain that the refit would include 109 new staterooms....mostly outside. The staterooms would be prefab and would just need to be installed and hooked up!
That's a lot bigger than the standard royal advantage drydock! I'm skeptical that they'd be able to add that many staterooms without a stretch.
At this point, anything is possible.

Sorry to be a johnny come lately to the thread, but given it's at 113 pages now, I don't feel *quite* as bad - we're looking to do a 7-night cruse and notice that several of the balcony hump cabins on deck six are available. Does anybody know if any of these cabins are more/less desirable than the others (ie does one of them have a bigger/smaller balcony than the others, for instance?)
Thanks!
There's no benefit to more room in a hump cabin vs. a standard cabin on Explorer. The close proximity to the elevators & stairs is great, along with the different types of views you can get depending where on the hump your cabin is.
Happy Cruising!

We are first time cruisers on the explorer sailing march 15th any advice thank you
Go back about 30 pages and start reading! This thread has everything.
If you have enough warm clothes on, go watch sail away from the helipad. Always fun.
Happy cruising!

You should be fine. I believe she is suppose to go in next year? There's a running dry dock thread somewhere. Deck 9 is nice, as long as you don't take the port center hump js. The suite as above has marble floors and a baby grand.

I was searching deck plans for Explorer of the Seas and noticed that they state until 4/19/13. Can anyone let me know where I can find desk plans for after that time. We are looking to book a room for 2014 and wondered if there is a difference Thanks
I believe they leave it open just in case something changes after that date - drydock?
She should just be getting the royal refit, not affecting stateroom layout (hopefully). Shouldn't be a difference. What are you looking for?

We will be on the Explorer in alittle over a month and I was wondering what that game is called that has the married people and they ask them questions. Is it the Newlywed game? We always want to go but always miss it. This time around I want to make sure I find it on the Compass but I want to know the name of the show or game and where it's usually held. Anybody know?:)
