  1. I think we all need to keep calling Princess with our website complaints. Maybe the 'squeaky wheel' will get results.

     

    Without the website there is no way I can book excursions or spa appointments for my upcoming cruises - let alone look for additional cruises.

  2. It's been nearly a week of not being able to access Princess website to update cruise info. Finally called them today and was told that it appears to be an iPad issue where you can only access the website using chrome not safari. I finally tried my antiquated Windows computer and it worked fine when I tried that. I told him I wasn't too happy about the solution offered and he suggested I contact customer relations.

    I have rebooted my iPad more than once and cleared history and cookies multiple times with no success. Princess website is not working with Safari nor Chrome!!!

     

    How do we contact customer relations? With no access to the website there is no contact information except the normal reservation line 1-800-princess. And those people know nothing about fixing a website problem. They only tell you to use Chrome (that doesn't work) and/or they tell you that it is your computer problem not theirs. Very frustrating!

  3. Still not working on my iPad with either Safari or Chrome. Have not been able to access website since last Tuesday 2/7/17.:(

     

    Hopefully the more people that call Princess and report their problems the sooner there will be a solution. Don't let them tell you it is your computer.

  4. Called Princess and was told to use Chrome not Safari. Not happy with that answer but I downloaded Chrome and got the same results as with Safari. Finally talked to a supervisor and told her that it wasn't just me but that people on CruiseCritic were also reporting problems. She looked at this CC thread and has supposedly passed along a trouble ticket to their IT department. My guess is that Princess IT tweaked something and now there are possible interface problems with Mac OS - again just my uneducated guess.

  5. I have had problems with the Princess website since Tuesday. Problems using both my iPad and my laptop. Was able to use my computer at 'work' but not the iPad even when logged onto the same network. Best I can deduce is that my iPad and laptop use Mac OS whereas the 'work' computer is a PC. :(

     

    Cannot access my cruise personalized account nor research possible cruises.

  6. After our first few cruises we seldom have purchased any photos on the ship. But interestingly we did purchase our embarkation photo when we boarded the Diamond Princess in Sydney after our 15 hour red-eye flight from LA and walking around the port area a few hours before we could board the ship. I thought we looked amazingly 'good' or at least wonderfully happy considering we had been up for almost 40 hours! It was a nice memento to have as a reminder of a once in a lifetime trip.

  7. We cruised to Alaska on the Grand in May and unfortunately we were part of the 'pre-pay excursion' experiment. Normally we would have pre-booked our Princess excursions but this time we only pre-booked one excursion because it was one we had always wanted to do. It was a helicopter excursion to a glacier and consequently quite pricey. Upon boarding the ship on San Francisco we were informed that Princess had cancelled all of their helicopter excursions due to a couple of fatal Alaska helicopter accidents in the previous 2 weeks - not ship related excursions. Our cancelled excursion was refunded as refundable OBC on our account. At the end of the cruise we still had a credit balance in excess of $900. A check was mailed to us approximately 4 weeks after the end of the cruise.

  8. We will be flying from Buenos Aires to Iguazu and are scheduled to land at 6:10pm. We will be staying at the Sheraton Iguazu and know that the park entrance fee will need to be paid en route to the hotel. My question is since we will be arriving after the posted park closing time of 6pm, how (or when and where) do we pay the park entrance fee?

     

    Also does anyone know if the fee is still AR 260 pesos per person?

  9. I have our Air Tahiti Nui confirmation number but when I go to their website I can't find a place to enter that information so that I can review our flight reservation. We aren't flying until Nov but that doesn't seem to be the issue since I haven't managed to get anywhere in the website to enter the confirmation number or any flight info. Am I missing something? Is it possible to review your flight reservation on their website?

     

    Thanks for any help or insight you may be able to provide.

  10. I had read the fine print before talking to my TA this morning. So after making the booking she called Princess and told them that we wanted the OBC rather than the AIBP. The Princess rep knew nothing about the OBC offer. While checking with another dept he looked on the Princess website and found the same fine print that I had been reading. However no one could give him a booking code to use to get OBC instead of the AIBP. Long story short - he was told that once onboard we should go to Guest Services to have the beverage sticker exchanged for OBC. Personally I think that is crazy! No way is someone at the Guest Services desk going to believe I should be able to get OBC as a substitute. My TA and I decided that we will wait a few days and talk to Princess again after they have had some time to figure out how they are going to handle this part of the Sip & Sail promotion.

     

    Just a side note: The option to get OBC instead of the beverage package was not part of the fine print I read earlier this week. I only saw it this morning.

  11. It changed on the Ruby in March. We were on March 21 cruise and it was there on the form. Stayed on for March 28th, and form didn't have them. We wrote the strawberries on the form and we received it.

     

    That's interesting. We had strawberries on the Feb 10 Crown cruise and they were still on our order form in the March 28 Ruby cruise. :confused: Guess we got an old order form.:rolleyes:
