I must be very odd, I love the Cunard pillows !
Not odd at all Hattie. I've often considered stuffing one of the pillows in a case to take home I love them so much lol :D

Thank you for your reports. I shall miss them, they have made me more excited about boarding her in Rio - if it's possible to be more excited. Enjoy your onward journeys.

Thanks for the update. Hope things calm down now.

Thanks for a great report, keep them coming. We join the ship in Rio so we won't get a chance to meet but it will be great to hear the news on board until you disembark in USA.

We experienced The Rewind Project on Mary earlier this year. They had the same reaction. Absolutely brilliant. You were so lucky to have them again in the Queens Room. I'm hoping they'll show up when were on Victoria next year.

The Gin & Fiz bar sounds very interesting. Can't wait to try it :)

Thanks. Yes, keep posting as we're due on her in February and your opinion of her since the refit would be welcome.

Has anyone used this company to explore Coquimbo, Chile. They use classic Citreon CVs and supply a guide. tia.

You can't,we live in Italy and we can't access cunard uk,even though we type it in.Cunard only recognises your location online.
Use a VPN then you can access cunard uk or anywhere.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. After trying everything possible I contacted Cunard (through Facebook messenger, guaranteed to get immediate response) and they told me they had gained access by entering dates of birth that bore no resemblance to ours. As I logged in many times with our correct DOB I was a bit worried as to how they'd been changed. I received a message today telling me they'd now amended this and to "rest assured that this is completely normal and is typically a system glitch which is easily rectified". I have now managed to log in and have had to amend our country of birth and passport numbers and dates which had also been changed. I find this a little unnerving.

Is anyone else having problems logging in. I've tried on both my pc and iPad both of which I've used to log in previously and it won't let me. I get a quick flash of the home screen but it immediately returns to the login screen. Would appreciate ant suggestions. TYIA.

Enjoy your final days on the QV Roscoe. We'll miss your blog. It was a pleasure meeting you. It seems a lifetime since we disembarked in LA but you've kept the rest of the cruise alive for us. Vera and Mike x

You'll love Cunard and QM2. We're booked on the same cruise. We did the first leg to Cape Town in 2014 and considered it one of the best. It will be great to carry on to Sydney this time. Vera & Mike

Thank you for the links everyone. Very interesting article Euro Cruiser, we may just reconsider.

We will be calling into Fort Lauderdale and want to take an airboat ride but not with the ships organised tour. I cannot find any private operators who offer collection and return to the ship. Could any of you recommend or know of one. Thank you in advance.

We'll be on the Queen Victoria world cruise this January for three months. Just wondering if anyone knows about the stateroom TV's, specifically do the TV's have VGA and audio inputs? We would like to hook up our laptop (with a VGA and audio output) to the TV in the cabin to view our videos on a larger screen. I've asked Cunard but their answer was simply if your laptop has HDMI, VGA, S-video you should be able to connect to the TV. But I'd like to be very clear about what sort of cable we need before we embark.
I understand that all the TV's on the Queen Victoria have been refitted in 2015, so would love to hear from anybody who's been aboard recently and knows the TV specs. Thanks for your help. :)
We'll be on the QV in January, Southampton to LA. I would like to know if the TVs have a USB port to enable us to watch films preloaded on a USB flash drive. Can anyone on board/recently been on board answer this.
Thanks Vera

Thanks Newport Dave. I've checked the link and I'm thinking we may only need a transit visa as we're only there a few hours.

We will be visiting Cochin, India for a few hours on our cruise. Does anyone know if we need a visa and if so how do we go about it. We hold British passports. Thanks in advance. Vera
Transatlantic Southampton round trip-day in New York questions
in Cunard Line

We are on the 26 night QM2 Xmas cruise arriving in NY for the day on the 22nd December before heading for the caribbean. Being so close to Xmas we want to avoid the shops and plan to buy fast track tickets for the Ground Zero museum, planning to take the Red Hook ferry to Wall Street. My questions are: 1)How do we get from the cruise terminal to the ferry and how long will it take, and 2) what is the distance between the Wall Street ferry terminal & Ground Zero and how do we get there (is it walkable?). Thanking you in advance.
