There are a couple of tours on offer, one is to Macy's and they pick you up again a few hours later. Another is an open top bus tour. They're not cheap.

You're far better doing your own thing especially as the new ferry from Red Hook to Wall Street is now operational.

All aboard is 16:30, but you will still have to first queue for security and then you go straight on board.

We are on the 26 night QM2 Xmas cruise arriving in NY for the day on the 22nd December before heading for the caribbean.  Being so close to Xmas we want to avoid the shops and plan to buy fast track tickets for the Ground Zero museum, planning to take the Red Hook ferry to Wall Street. My questions are: 1)How do we get from the cruise terminal to the ferry and how long will it take, and 2) what is the distance between the Wall Street ferry terminal & Ground Zero and how do we get there (is it walkable?). Thanking you in advance.

  2. I must be very odd, I love the Cunard pillows !

Not odd at all Hattie. I've often considered stuffing one of the pillows in a case to take home I love them so much lol :D

  3. Thank you everyone for your suggestions. After trying everything possible I contacted Cunard (through Facebook messenger, guaranteed to get immediate response) and they told me they had gained access by entering dates of birth that bore no resemblance to ours. As I logged in many times with our correct DOB I was a bit worried as to how they'd been changed. I received a message today telling me they'd now amended this and to "rest assured that this is completely normal and is typically a system glitch which is easily rectified". I have now managed to log in and have had to amend our country of birth and passport numbers and dates which had also been changed. I find this a little unnerving.

  4. Is anyone else having problems logging in. I've tried on both my pc and iPad both of which I've used to log in previously and it won't let me. I get a quick flash of the home screen but it immediately returns to the login screen. Would appreciate ant suggestions. TYIA.

  5. We'll be on the Queen Victoria world cruise this January for three months. Just wondering if anyone knows about the stateroom TV's, specifically do the TV's have VGA and audio inputs? We would like to hook up our laptop (with a VGA and audio output) to the TV in the cabin to view our videos on a larger screen. I've asked Cunard but their answer was simply if your laptop has HDMI, VGA, S-video you should be able to connect to the TV. But I'd like to be very clear about what sort of cable we need before we embark.

I understand that all the TV's on the Queen Victoria have been refitted in 2015, so would love to hear from anybody who's been aboard recently and knows the TV specs. Thanks for your help. :)

We'll be on the QV in January, Southampton to LA. I would like to know if the TVs have a USB port to enable us to watch films preloaded on a USB flash drive. Can anyone on board/recently been on board answer this.

    Thanks Vera

  6. Have any of you visited the orangutan Sanctuary. Is it worth a visit. This is one of the excursions offered by Cunard.

    Thanks. Vera & Mike
