The Guest Services desk on the ship has a regular refrigerator, so if you need something kept at a really cold temp, they will store it for you. I would also advise you to send an e-mail to guest services, just to let them know. That way, if you do need some special consideration on board, they are aware of it
Thank you, I did call Carnival Acess Desk this morning and we should be all set. 🙂

Thanks everyone, appreciate the information.

Just did this recently. When you do online checkin you can indicate Diabetic (I think that was the selection). I asked my Carnival planner to add the sharps container and it was in the cabin when we got there. Or, you could ask the room steward.
The refrigerator in the room is not guaranteed to have the correct temperature. Ours have always been cold but you might not want to chance it. You cannot preorder the medical frig. Immediately upon boarding go to guest services and request one. It is first come/first served and I don't know if they run out. There is a $75 deposit required (on your sail and sign card) and you get it back when you return the frig.
Funny (now) story about the medical frig. My son and friend (hemophiliac) got one for their room when they were about 18. They plugged it in and accidently (?) set it to hot. I guess those things can heat or cool. Anyway, the heat set off fire alarms and all kinds of security came running. Fortunately I was on the lido deck having cocktails and missed all the excitement.
Thanks, regarding the online checkin, I was doing this for everyone in our group and forgot my SIL is diabetic (had no clue she uses insulin) and completed without adding this. Now that we are complety checked in, I don't think I can go back and change this. Maybe I'll call Carnival in the morning.

My husband is type one diabetic. No problem bringing all his supplies on board. Let your room steward know if you need a sharps container.
Thank you

Anyone here cruise with insulin? Are there any issues getting on the ship with insulin needles? My SIL is going on her first cruise with us and is diabetic. Does Carnival need to know if someone is Diabetic and using insulin?
Thanks

We used Parkway in 2019. It was very convenient, upon parking we were able to walk with our luggage across the street (roundabout) and straight to the drop-off area. Upon return, one stayed with the luggage and the other retrieved the car. EzPz... Happy cruising!
Thanks

Noting several states are now not insisting masks, and Covid stats down....any chance Carny takes away the big elephant in the room. ...the dreadful 2 days before sailing Rapid Test? Pretty tough to co-ordinate the test with airline reservations, etc.
From your lips to Gods ears. I will be so glad when all this is over

Just booked solo cruise on vista this morning for incredible price, but can't find the print section where you print luggage tags. It's paid in full, online check in is March 13, do I need to wait then?
Yea, I believe once online check in is done, boarding pass and luggage tags will be available.

I prefer the twice per day cleaning simply because I don’t like having dirty towels laying around, like having a newly cleaned sink, ice, etc.
Another thing I was thinking about is some of these older ships have pretty dirty and worn cabins. I have to wonder what they’ll be like if Carnival moves to once per day cleaning permanently.
Having a second cleaning doesn’t necessarily need to involve vacuuming etc, but a quick once-over would be nice.
I will leave my tips in place as always, and I will tip extra as always, but I’m not going to tip as much extra as I normally do if it’s only once per day.
Some might say that this is not the fault of the steward. My response is that the stewards need address that with Carnival that their extra tips are lower because they’re providing less service.
If the consumer does nothing but rolls with it, then Carnival will just keep cutting back.
So if they clean early in the day, is there no turndown at night?

Looks like they are located across the street from the convention center....not worth the convenience of parking right at the port IMO.
Thank you

Perhaps cyber attack threat we've been hearing has begun.
I haven't heard about any cybyer attacks, however wouldn't be surprised.

Watching another video and the person states you have to "upload your docuements". Is this so? If so, how do you do this without a scanner?
-
Just tried again. I sort of in. I see my name and welcome. I also have the option to log out. However none of my booking are showing and they are not coming up. 😞 Makes me nervous.

Yes, I have done that several times in the last few months. I stay up until midnight, sign in, add enough details to select my arrival appointment, and come back days later when I have time to add the rest of the details.
Sounds great. I will try this.

It's been years since I've sailed with Carnival and did an online check it. My question, is it possible to go in, select a time and then come back at a later time or day and finish the process? (I'm going to be checking mulitple people)

Yes, glad to see I'm not the only one. (Not glad there are issues 🙂 )

Could I get information on Parkway Parking at the Port of Tampa? Other than general information, can a person walk from the parking lot and/or garage to the port?

Nope, just checked, not there. Maybe it'll pop up later.
Mine was under the link for the online check in. I missed it several times as the type was smaller

I did the vaccination survey for two bookings, 4 people. I did not get an email, however my SIL did, so figure. Called about it and the rep started giving me reasons for the protocols 😞 That was not what I wanted.

I think it might come down to how things impact other guests.
I don't personally understand how someone wearing jeans would negatively impact your cruise. On the other hand, if a lot of guests are chair saving or smoking, that can negatively impact your cruise. Nevermind, smoking is proven to impact the very health of those around you.
Outside of "setting the mood" a dress code doesn't really do much to impact the satisfaction of a cruise. Most people are in the dining room for the food and not much else. There are exceptions, but that is why there are premium restaurants on the ships.
Yea I agree, typically for me, I couldn't care less how others are dressed. (Provided their clothes cover critical area) 🙂
If they feel good in what they are in and I feel good about what I'm in, all is well. However there are those who think and feel otherwise. Have a wonderful day.

Sounds great, thanks.
Cork Screw
in Carnival Cruise Lines
Posted
Does Carnival allow cork screws to be brought on to the ship with the bottle of wine?
If I were to pay the 15 dollar corkage fee, would the dinning room store/keep the wine for me?
Thanks
