I just realized I never finished the last few hours of our cruise. Maybe that was my sub-consciences way of keeping it from being over! :p:D
We went to eat in the dining room one last time.
The show in the Phantom Theatre that night was the Legends Show. We usually go to it but…
Our 30th anniversary was October 4th, the morning they 'made' us get off the ship  so we decided to celebrate that last night with some of our new friends. We wanted to wait until midnight so it would officially be our anniversary but we all needed to finish packing & get to bed so we decided that midnight in Tennessee was 10PM on the ship so we met at Frankie & Johnnie's to celebrate!
We danced our last few dances to Music Unlimited & hugged our new friends good bye & went back to our cabin to put our luggage out. We usually do self-disembarkation but decided not to this time.

Juli, your little Koala bear Rae here!! :D Loved your review and am constantly going back to this thread to relive the cruise. Your pictures and memories are wonderful. The Captain and I were very happy to have "Dr. Juli" and her pharmacy available for us when we came down with that chronic cough which laid us low for a few days.
Looking seriously at the B2B Conquest in Oct. We hope to sail with you and J.R. again and this time spend more time doing things instead of "recovering" in our cabin..lol
Wanted to say "Hi" to all the M&G group. What a fun time we had meeting all of you and hope to see each one of you again on a future sailing.:)
We really miss 'our little Rae' hugs & thanks for sharing the 'Captain' with us! :D:p:D Our memories from our trip ARE wonderful & meeting you & Lee was a highlight!
It was an incredible trip from start to finish with only a few minor hiccups. I hate it y'all were puny for a few days but glad you improved enough to join in the fun again!
I am in major toy purchasing mode right now but will come up with a definite plan for our fall cruise after the holidays but I am so excited that y'all might be joining us.
Hugs, Juli

Hey Juli, Your review and pics are fantastic! No need to apologize for not taking careful notes. We finally had our civic election that we've been so involved with ever since we got home on Saturday. Great results but sure glad it's over.
Hope that leg of yours is getting better. In the new year, it would be great if your friends on our October cruise want to share e-mail addresses. Of course, I'm still hoping you two will book at least one leg of it. But you're on the Triumph in January so we'll get all the ship info from you.
Cheers, Jacquie (Don too)
Hi Jacquie, Thanks! Glad the election went well. I am in full elf mode with the Christmas charity I am involved with. Craziness long days but very rewarding! :)
Robin & John are great & we love to cruise with them but I think we are leaning towards doing a B2B on the Conquest out of Fort Lauderdale in October.
We are on the Triumph February 20th from San Juan to Galveston. My daughter & son-in-law are booking the February 9th cruise though from Galveston to San Juan with the same itinerary as yours except their cruise goes to Dominica instead of Martinique so I will get the scoop for you! :D They will be getting off the ship as we get on!
Hugs, Juli
You're right, that is Makena Beach. In the picture above you can see the Molokini Crater behind you. :cool:Thanks for giving this Hawaii junkie a temporary fix until I get to go back! Your pictures brought back many happy memories.
Thanks. Always a good thing to know where we were! :D I don't recall seeing any signs but we could have overlooked them. We were just excited that it quit raining while we were at the beach!
We have a lot of great memories from our trip too. I need to get busy working on a photo book from our cruise for J.R. for Christmas! :D

Thanks every one for the great info. We have booked them for both Hilo & Kona, can't wait for our Hawaii cruise on Celebrity in Sept 2015.
We toured with Mary Lou's in Hilo & Kona on our cruise in September. Two of our favorite days on the whole cruise! I think you will love it! :):):)

There was no rhyme nor reason to the pics we took of the ship. This was our 4th time on the Miracle though & I did a review from our Alaskan cruise on the Miracle in 2013 with LOTS of photos of the ship & they are much better pics than the ones we took this time.
The water was like glass that night!

Even the elevators are cool!
Dr. Frankenstein's
The upstair's at Frankensteins. Notice the winding staircase to get to the lower level. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed it that way.

We ran around taking random pics of the ship like crazy! Like we had not had 16 days to take them! :p
A classic! The guys wanted to dance 'on stage'!
-
It was still warm enough to put 'our toes in the water'!
And a pic of 'our photographers' taking pics of us!

Nature at it's best!
-
We went down to Gatsby's Garden to take some pics.
And then we headed up to watch the sunset for the last time.

Sea Day 10...
Another beautiful day with calm seas! Unfortunately it was our last sea day!!! :(
-
The dates on the pics taken from my water camera are all off due to the time changes.
Dinner with our group was always a lot of fun!
Our wait staff was the best!
The show that night in the Phantom Theatre featured Ned Rifken, Carnival's Ambassador of Swing. As you might have noticed we usually skipped the musical shows so we danced the night away again in Frankie & Johnnie's.
Music Unlimited is AMAZING!
And our bar waiter got up & sang & he had an incredible voice.

Sea Day 9
Today was the last Brunch of course we did not miss it!
The movie Blended was shown on the big screen in the Phantom Theatre. J.R. & I did not go because we had the LCR game but some that went said it was PACKED!
And the winners of our roll call's door decorating contest was....Rae & Lee!
Rae put a little note "Do not peek" on the flap so of course everyone did :p & there were birds chirping & a ship's horn! It was so adorable & creative!
And the runner-ups with great door decorations too were Danelle & Danny and Glenda & Donald.
Hanging out on our balcony.

Thanks for the review. I can't wait for my first cruise on the Miracle in January.
Enjoy your cruise! This is the first time in four years we do not have a cruise booked on the Miracle! :(
This looks to me like it is Makena Beach or "Big Beach"... did you have a bit of a walk through the woods before you hit the beach? If you did then Yes... you found Big Beach! Loved your review by the way...Thanks. Yes we did walk down a path through the woods. We thought it was Big Beach but we didn't see a sign & once we got home I wasn't sure where we were!:D
This is JUST WONDERFUL. One question: where do you get all your energy!Ha-ha! J.R. calls me his energizer bunny! I go & go & go & if I slow down I crash so I don't slow down very often! :D:p:D

The show that night in the Phantom Theatre was Ticket to Ride, a tribute to the music of the Beatles. We have seen it several times but we LOVE it so of course we did not miss it especially since Music Unlimited was in the show!
We decided to give the Piano Bar one more chance since Music Unlimited was not performing in Frankie & Johnnie's that night. There was not as much to do as usual so there were more people in the Piano Bar than there had been on previous nights but IMHO it was still not good at all & we only stayed a few minutes.
Bistra Mileva in the Piano Bar
We left the Piano Bar & went to Frankenstein's Nightclub.
Poor J.R. was stuck dancing with Frankenstein!
-
Rae & Lee caught a nasty cold that lasted a few days so we were so excited they were finally out & about again!
Off to dinner & our wonderful waitress Kristy.
And J.R.'s favorite!
-
Tonight was the 2nd Elegant Night. I love seeing everyone all dressed up!
I don't know why we always buy the pics on the stairs!
Then we took a LOT of pics with our cameras.
Dan & Linda were looking pretty snazzy!
Lynn & I borrowed 'the Captain'.
And a pic with our adorable Little Rae!

Sea Day 8
Pool time! It was chilly but once the guys got in several other people did too. Lynn & I were smart, we sat on the side of the pool with our feet in the water.
I don't know what is up with J.R. but he always gets stuck on the slide! We watched him start down & we waited & we waited & we waited & we heard all these squeaking noises & FINALLY he came down almost crawling the last few feet what seemed like 10 minutes later!
Mitch came zipping down & showed J.R. how it is done!
Mitch was trying to be a good friend & not laugh to hard as J.R. attempts the slide again. Even the slide attendant was cracking up & kept pointing to where he was stuck in the slide.
They had a yummy Mexican buffet that day & we almost missed it.

And off to the show in the Phantom Theatre. The show was an illusionist named Bobby Borgia. He was WONDERFUL!
I know this is a horrible pic but this pineapple fruit dish I ordered for dessert was soooo yummy!
Some of those PIRATES!

Sea Day 7...
We went to Brunch & then enjoyed ANOTHER beautiful day!
And a snack to tide us over until dinner!
And a pic with our favorite photographer Alyssa.
