  4. In response to your recent post on average a 14 night cruise will have 3 formal nights and 2 theme nights. However if you would like to contact us nearer your cruise using the email address internet@fredolsen.co.uk we should be able to confirm this for you.

  5. In response to your recent post we do offer this service. There are two ways in which you can do this.

Either you can take your luggage to Southampton on the 4th January or you may wish to choose to use a baggage handling service, details of which can be found on the website http://www.fredolsencruises.com/Cruise-Extras/Cruise-Extras/Baggage-Handling-Service/Baggage-Handling-

There is a charge for this service and it is £45 per case per continuous sector for storage of your luggage.

We will be sending details out in the next two weeks to all those guests booked on this cruise which will give full details of this and other pre cruise advice and services.

However in the meantime I do hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines

  6. Fred. Olsen's first-ever 'Grill' Restaurant is new to Boudicca

Boudicca now features a new 'Grill' restaurant on the Lounge Deck 6 around the swimming pool. This is the first of it's kind across the Fred. Olsen fleet and this partially-covered restaurant offers our guests a very special and atmospheric on-deck dining experience.

The Grill serves breakfast and lunch 'a la carte', and for a supplement, guests can book their exclusive place in advance and indulge in a delicious premium menu of grilled specialities, including prime-cut sirloin steaks, seafood dishes and fresh lobster.

If you would like further information please email us at internet@fredolsen.co.uk and we will be happy to help.

    Regards

  7. In response to your recent post the following information is given on our website regarding laundry services available:

All our cruise ships provide an excellent Laundry, Dry Cleaning and Pressing Service. A full price list and details will be found in your Welcome Pack waiting for you in your cabin. An additional 25% is charged for same day service.

An ironing room and self service launderette is available on all our ships, where a nominal charge is made for the use of the washing machines.

For those guests who have booked under our Suite Dream package vouchers for laundry and pressing of formal wear is included.

We hope this helps answer your query.

  8. In response to many of your posts we can confirm British night has been re-instated by popular request on all cruises with the exception of those sailings departing ex Scotland and ex Eire/ N.Ireland.

We hope this will help with the confusion in this matter.

    Kind regards

  9. In response to your recent post concerning gratuities on board we do give the following information on our website which I hope you will find useful:

Gratuities to crew, drivers, guides etc. ashore are not included in the cost of your cruise holiday. We’re confident however that you’ll wish to reward staff on board for their service, although tipping is entirely at your discretion. As a general rule £2.00 per adult Guest per day for your cabin stewardess and the same amount for your restaurant waiter is always very much appreciated. For your convenience this will automatically be added to your cruise end account. Please however contact Reception once on board should you wish to vary this amount.

    Regards

    Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines
