Was pleased to see a little blurb in the daily yesterday asking people not to let doors slam and be considerate of others. [emoji106][emoji106]

Just tried taking an afternoon nap and there were at least a dozen slams in my vicinity in 45 min. If it's cabin attendants, what are they doing in the middle
of the afternoon to be going in and out of so many cabins? It's so frustrating, the whole cabin shakes each time.
Funny enough, I was in the same cabin on the previous cruise and had no issue with schlammers. Passenger makeup of this TA is quite different. Lots of unfriendly people who can't even manage a good morning or smile.

Yes, and they're good, but they're not like at home. They just mix some vodka with a can of spicy Clamato. No rimmer, no Worcestershire sauce. But better than nothing. As said above, the usually run out of the Clamato at some point on the cruise so enjoy them early on. I get mine at the Passport bar on deck 3.

Worst menu of every cruise by far. Marketing gimmick gone very wrong.

Any idea if you have to wait until X days before sailing? The terms talk about making the request at least 2-3 weeks before sailing but don't indicate an earliest request date. I'm eager to get it done but I'm still 2 months out.

Take the resident rate and pay as you go for drinks. The Go Big/better cash grab will never be a good deal for a solo. It's priced at a premium for 2.

I booked on board in USD in March so they definitely do it. This is just another case of ask the question twice, get two different answers. If you can't get the right answer, don't bother booking through celebrity at all. Many US TAs will make your booking for you. Forget cdn TAs except the big C big box store, you'll get virtually no perks from a cdn TA. Right now Celebrity's FX rate is a major ripoff, but for quite a while it was really favourable to us. So basically, you have to do the math before booking each and every time.

Sushi was much better at sushi on 5 than silk harvest. I'd ditch it from that restaurant and focus on better Thai/Szechuan dishes.

My wife "doesn't like sushi" (translation: refuses to try it)!
[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] this is so true for so many!

Completely agree, especially for the transatlantics. Same ports year after year [emoji99][emoji99][emoji99]

Right now celebrity's fx rate is terrible so I wouldn't book anything this far out in cdn. Do your homework. At the bottom of their website you can click on US to change the default website country and then find the tour in USD.
For a long time we were benefiting from a great rate with celebrity but now they've gone the other extreme.

I prefer to wake up where I'm sailing from. You can enjoy a leisurely breakfast and honeymoon lie-in and then take a nice waterfront walk before heading to the ship early to maximize your time on board. Especially if you have to drink package. [emoji6]

Which cruise lines sail to Paris?
Most of them. Port is called Le Havre. Cruise lines pack the majority of their passengers onto big buses into Paris. Pretty easy target IMO. It can happen anywhere, anytime. The odds of being in the exact wrong place at the wrong time are still extremely tiny. Probably have about the same chance of winning the lottery.

Hi all, I'm the other half in the couple shots. [emoji4]
So far the Equinox staff is as friendly as I remembered. I love getting on board and knowing where everything is, it's like coming home. [emoji16]
