Perfect reply - both options (#1 is preferable, but #2 probably more realistic for most!) :)
BTW, this thread is almost 2 years old, why resurrected?
Menus change and many of us enjoy reading them. Why does that threaten you? :)

No Menus please Baychilla,We all know what food is.
Save yourself for something really interesting.
Since many of us enjoy reading menus and many of you do not, a reasonable compromise seems to be, please continue to post the menus and those who do not wish to read them can simply skip them. What approach would you take to satsfy both sides of the great menu debate?

I LOVE reading the menus and hope they keep coming.

Sara, this is the most refreshing blog I have read in a long time. (Sorry, Keith :)
You write and comport yourself beautifully. Never lose your contagiously enthusiastic spirit. You bring hope into the world.

No,those of us that are Diamond on Seabourn do get unlimited internet but we have sailed a few days for it. and paid a few dollars.
Crystal limit the usage to sixty minutes per guest so I guess that us Diamond seabourn sailors get free internet 24 Hours a day, continuous, unlimited.always on forever and ever.:)
Crystal will give anyone in any class of cabin or suite who sails with them from the second sailing onwards.
We will not see it on Seabourn as at different levels most sailors get some free internet time included in their on board perks.
Platinum is four hours per person if you choose that particular perk from the list.
60 minutes per day per guest (not per stateroom) and the minutes can be used anytime during the cruise. In other words, a 14 day cruise gets 14 hours of included internet per person for that cruise.

To the op . . . Thank you for your review. Do you know the name of the executive chef? Thanks.
-
While that is true, I'd like to get off the ship not being sick :)
Also, if not using the gloves properly, why use them at all? Just wash your hands (like sushi chefs do) - or better yet, use utensils to handle all the food.
Agreed.

Good point!
So much for kissing the grandkids . . . Little buggers are full of germs!!! The Horror!!! And the dog? Gotta go.

Here is another one of my favorites (on any cruise line). Line chefs use plastic gloves to handle the food. The gloves were clean at first but in the mean time they have opened doors, handled any number of items other than food but they continue to pretend that they are still "sterile" as long as they are wearing gloves and continue to handle the food as if they were still "clean".
Of for God's sake! Next cruise I will wear a space helmet at all times. Relax, folks. None of us are getting out of this world alive.

Sadly, goes well beyond handshaking. So sad to read this :(

Just for interest from the CDC website - section entitled - Keeping Your Hands Clean on a Cruise:
The main problem with hand sanitizers is that the amount of ethanol in them is often not high enough to be effective against norovirus (contrasted with proper soap and water hand washing).
From a FL DOH summary on Norovirus I've found useful:
A full minute of contact time with 70% ethanol is required to
inactive Norovirus. ]
As a point of reference, Everclear is 95% ethanol, Bacardi 151 is 75.5% ethanol. A standard vodka is 40% ethanol.
So Bacardi 151 would work fine then?

Believe Terry, his wife and close friends were able to enjoy such a wonderful cruise and SS was able to deliver primarily due to the exhaustive research Terry did prior to this cruise. When Terry boarded, he had learned from his due dilligence (primary from right here on the SS CC thread) what to ask for from the Cloud crew well in advance. Having ductape onboard was as added bonus for her special (xceding 1000 days on board SS) breakfast. As he wonderfully posted, (except for the 3% finance charge) the Cloud team delivered magnificently on his reasonable requests. (any SS guest can do the same--and I believe SS will deliver similar results) We also experienced this above and beyond Silversea service on our January Spirit crossing--Dougburns, Emmy and I just asked the Spirit crew in advance (e.g a special meal, anniversary dinner, Panorama outdoor deck cocktail party, vow renewal ceremony) and they also delivered outstanding/life long cruise memory results.
Spot on, Colonel, as usual. SilverSea encourages guests to ask for whatever they don't see. We have asked and always gotten a smile and, usually, a "yes." If it is not on the ship, of course, it cannot be done (until the next port =) Asking, nicely, is not assoicated with more money. We do not tip individuals; we don't stay in fancy suites (I wish but it is not going to happen =) and we do not have 100 days (yet.) Still, we have never been disappointed. By the way, we have had the same experience on Regent.

Appreciate the nice comments. Don't be shy! Let us know any added questions while these "things" are fresh in our minds and my picture collection is handy. Really loved the ship and its great crew, plus the other fellow passengers.
THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio
Truly amazing photos, and such informative ones! We board Cloud Aug. 13 and can hardly wait! =)

By any chance did Gabriela work on SilverSea before joining Regent? Does anyone know? Thanks.
