I read on here recently about a new promo from HAL I believe it was called above and beyond or something like this. Haven't seen it promoted on Hals website, can anyone help me out?? I know it was for 2014 sailings for Europe and Collectors cruises, of which I am currently booked. thanks!!:)

We've had the same PCC since we booked on line with HAL for the 1st time in Late January or Early February 2008.

 

She is awesome and whenever anyone asks me for a recommendation, I am happy to do so:)

 

Awesome to read and hear from so many others who have a great PCC also.

 

As stated above by another CC member, Price is not a concern for us, For us, it is the knowledge that we have someone from HAL who cares enough for us to bend over backwards. She has been and continues to be a really great friend:) And, she is recognized every year by HAL at an annual meeting with awards for exceeding her goals:)

 

God Bless all of the GREAT PCC's and HAL, they deserve a raise:)

Store and Lille Strandstræde are sidestreets to Nyhavn so there is not much shopping there.

 

Perhaps you mean Strøget and Købmagergade (where the Round Tower is).

 

All places are walkable, Tivoli is located on the other end of Strøget.

HI, just a question, we are staying ant the Hotel Bethel on Nyhavn, for 2.5 days before our cruise. We want to do a canal tour, visit Tivoli, The Round Tower, and the street with all the shops, forgive me I have forgotton the name of the street, possibly it is Strandstraede?. And most definitely Rosenborg Castle. Are these all walkable for a normally fit couple in our sixties? thanks!:D

If you really like the desert or something else from the previous evenings dinner, if you ask, sometimes they will have "leftovers" they can bring you. We discovered this on the Noordam during Thanksgiving last year.:D

We had a car service meet us after our cruise on the Star. We got picked up at 8:15 and got to the airport around 9:00. The taxi line was already slow by the time we left. And we didn't feel like an early morning walk with luggage after a long cruise to the train station, especially not knowing the weather ahead of time. We had a 12:20 flight so we opted for the car service.

What service did you use?:)

From my research there are two companies for the tours. Stromma is more expensive. The other company is Netto Badene which is less money but doesn't stop at the hotel.

Which one is outside the Hotel Bethel?

Also how much will a taxi cost us from the airport to the hotel, roughly. We do not arrive until around 10:30 PM. So we really dont want to take the train.

I can't imagine sending bras to the ship's laundry. At home they go in the wash and hang dry. Very easy. It isn't a "luxury" having to hand wash on vacation when I don't at home. This isn't pampering.

what about if you put your bras and panites in a lingerie bag and zip it shut, then stuff it into the blue bag? will they leave them in the mesh lingerie bag or remove them from the bag to wash and dry them??:confused:
