Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman and Cool Runnings catamaran to Dunns River Falls!!

Our first cruise was on the Ruby Princess and we absolutely loved it. The ship was brand new and we were first timers, so our excitement was through the roof! Our next cruise was on Carnival and we were really expecting to see a little decline in service and ships. Boy were we wrong! Both cruise lines are wonderful and our level of enjoyment was equal on both. I would cruise either and base my choice on dates and itinerary.

We live on a farm so we always cut off the well when we are gone.

We prefer Lido for easy access to pools, ect.

I really do not have a favorite as we have been very happy with all of our choices. I did really enjoy the spaghetti carbonara.

We have never sailed the Magic or an inside, but Lido balconies are our choice!

Don't miss the afternoon tea! We love it and some men DO attend!

Step outside the box and try the Drink of the Day every day. Did this on our first cruise and found out I liked something besides a margarita.

On our Freedom cruise, there was a family of about 5 adults and 3 children that came to dinner an hour past time, every night. After about the 3rd night, the waitstaff brought them family style bowls of food. I do not know if it was prearranged or not, but the individual service ceased.

Lido for sure. We book Lido on every ship. Love it, Love it..Close to the pool, the food, the action, etc. So convenient.

I totally agree with this post!! Our favorite location by far.

If you check the roll call for those sailings, maybe some folks would have a list of ports and activities they were going to participate in.

We have always bought insurance through the cruise line. Our second cruise I got a call in Cozumel that my father was in ICU and things did not look good. I was in the process of finding out how to get a flight home when they called back and said he was stable. Thankful we did not have to use it, but glad we had it.

Last year on the Freedom, we were traveling with friends and one of them was mobility impaired. They sent us to muster in one of the dining rooms because our friend could not have stood that long. There were 2 other groups there that had small children, so they may make that option available to you if you ask.

Our first cruise was a balcony guarantee and we were worried when assigned Lido. No need for worries as it is the only location we want now. Love the convienence to all the fun and never had any noise issues at all.

Love the Fish and Chips station. The zucchini and calamari fritters are my favorite.

Another vote for Lido as our favorite deck. Love being close to the coffee in the morning:)

I had my husbands aunts earrings set into pendant and I wear it every day. Had my mother in laws engagement ring made into a pendant to give our daughter in law the day she had our first grandson and my moms ring set into a pendant and will give it to our daughter next week when she has our first granddaughter!! Love using family heirlooms!!

We love Lido balconies. Close to the pools and no stairs or elevators to deal with. Also close to coffee in the mornings!

We were on the Carnival Freedom 3/22 sailing this year. After I booked I realized it was spring break. This was an 8 day sailing and I was very happy to say there was no problem with "spring breakers". I do believe the longer cruises are not as popular with that age bracket.

We got there around 10:30 or 11.

I use the CVS brand and I think they work better than Neutrogena and are less expensive.

Spaghetti Carbonara and the mac n cheese that we had in little cups as a side. Both are yummy and I would order them every day.

I love the FunShip Special on Day 1 of my cruise. Usually on a cruise I try the DOD each day. I have never been adventurous with different drinks, but this is a fun way to exxperience new things.

The calamari and zucchini fritters are wonderful as well.
