What are the suite perks on the Ruby Princess?
-
Can OBC be cashed out…..How? Where? I can’t find enough things I want to spend it on.

I agree. Cashing out at the casino can make all OBC refundable.
How do you cash out at the casino…I’m new to this and I have a lot of onc to spend.

In the morning with room service is the coffee the good coffee or the syrup coffee?

Do the Crown Suites have a dedicated concierge?

We were on the Royal in January. Loved it!!!!!

I was on the Crown several years ago and loved the ship. I’m planning a California Coastal on her in October and am wondering how the ship is doing.

I was not able to reserve from the Medallion, but I was able to make reservations from the Princess site by going into the Web Version. It now shows upon the Medallion site.

I’ve tried booking our “free” specialty dinner but app keeps wanting to charge. I guess I’ll keep trying. Our cruise isn’t until January. And we’ve paid in full if that makes any difference.
-
I wonder if you should leave a tip at the speciality restaurants. I would assume they get the added tip but do you leave extra?

They check paper copies at embarkation.
This is my plan. Enough trying to get this working. IT says wait til closer to cruise. I may try one more time then.

Thank you! I shall give it all a try. I won’t stress but it’s so frustrating!

I’ve been booked for awhile. The app was doing ok….then it wasn’t and all 3 of my booked cruises are gone and “don’t exist”. I went on the Princess site and it says I’m green. It would be nice to access the items on the app. It worked on my April cruise.

I can’t link my booking…says it doesn’t exist…fully paid BTW

How long ago did your ship change?
If it just happened give the app about
2-3 days to correct itself.
Does it read correctly on the website?
Check your booking and the travel summary…does that look correct?
If its been more than 3 days, then I would contact the IT team for help. Tell them
your full name
booking number
sail date and new ship
Explain exactly what happened and the app is not reflected correctly.
Send an email to:
A360ad7@carnival.com
Let us know how it turns out.
I emailed that site. They answered very promptly but said they would look into whatever issues closer to cruise dates…..first come first served cruise wise. That’s fair. I’m done stressing over it! Thank for the advise.

Thanks…I’ll give that a try.

My booked cruise changed ships. The medallion app doesn’t reflect the new booking. I’ve tried accessing with the new booking number but won’t allow me….still has old number and says the cruise was cancelled. Suggestions?

Would definitely choose any dining room but the Botticelli. It’s a crazy, disorganized crowd. Some with masks and some without and absolutely no distancing if those are of concern to you. Reservations were ignored….you sat where they chose or waited. Just not a pleasant experience.

Any reports of covid on the last week of this cruise?

Do you know how they managed that (walking to the table not the challah)? Did they request to be seated at the same table after the first night? I have a reservation every night at 6PM. Would love to be able to skip the line.🙂
I would like to know that too.

I get that two tops are hard to get but why bother to allow me to reserve that on the medallion app? It’s not a deal breaker for me but disappointing for sure.

Just back from Ruby Classic Coastal. The DMW medallion is pretty much worthless. I booked an early seating private (for two) table for each night due to my covid concerns. That was only offered in the Botticelli DR. There was no organization in the small area when it was time. Everyone jammed into the space and up,the stairs. We were finally admitted at a two table…first two nights. After that we had to share because “there are no tables for two available “. We protested but finally had to share the rest of the week or go to the buffet. I went to the service desk but none of the other dining rooms had availability. Several people had a specific table reserved for each night….ie traditional dining. I could never get near the DR Manager to ask how this is done. Not a fan of the medallion…even the staff often had difficulty getting it right.
