Just a update......they now have the ship you are on name printed on the back....we are just off the Sun Princess and asked for cards with no writing on the back....(we were using up obc and didn't need them) abd the waiter had to ring around bars trying to locate some as new ones have names on them.....of the ship

Hmmmm. I met someone new to cruising on our last cruise and they were upgraded to a suite.....she went down to the pursers desk for something and joing the elite suite line......she was then asked to produce her card.....she said to me after it was like I'm to young to be in this line (good upgrade) and they don't trust me lol...... maybe if it has the word suite on it its a quick id for staff

Ok.....ours was 24 days.....so I guess it will remain a mystery ....don't think we ever had so much obc and they kept giving it to us lol....

Never heard of this but on our recent b2b.....we found extra obc....no idea why....and our thoughts were the same....must be because of the b2b???

There is only traditional dining on the sun.....there is pizza and you can pay for the steakhouse. ....and then there is the buffet.... on our last cruise they watched closely those who never turned up and gave those seats away to those wanting first sitting.... there is no reason why you can't try the steakhouse but best to let them no at your table the night before....have fun

Yes it will give the date and time on your excursion sheet that will be in your room.......so if excursion is the 6th Sept. They will say no cancellation after 4th Sept 6pm.....or along those lines.....

Ours on princess just went to the wharf near Waitangi. ..then you caught the free shuttle into paiha...then you could ferry across to Russel....I can't see why they would hace tenders going all directions....that would mean more staff at both exits etc...

No idea on Lone Pine......Steve Irwins zoo is a very nice location. ...but you need a lot longer than the ship allows you....they only give you about 3 hours there if you are lucky.... the reason for this they told us was traffic...delays coming back to the ship in peak hour. There we're many cranky folk on our tour when they abd us realized how little time we had....It was a expensive tour as well

We picked up a jumper in Wellington...we were just walking down the main road dodging the rain....(our plans changed with the rain) and spotted the shop across the road....it looked like a short lease type shop.. great prices and helpful staff....hubby got a xxl with generous length on the sleeves. ...and body which are so hard to find..

You can't pick how it will be.....we are just back from Nz but we did sys to syd..... This was our 11 cruise and the first time we missed a meal in the dining room when leaving from Sydney. .. it was ok as we sailed across...we never got into Napier because of the winds....and going around the bottom of Nz was real rough....woke us up..we thought we wouldnt get into the forjds but we did...

Hi I didn't look at make up or purfume...they seem heavy on the coach bags which were out of my pricerange or style...... towards the end of the cruise they brought out a table with guess bags on it in the boutique. ....but I all ready had the style hubby brought me for xmas....its like guess is no longer full time most of the room seems to be for coach....(my advice is to study up on this before the cruise)

We just did this....it wasn't planned in any way....we got off the ship and walked through the isite tent.....and they were advertising it....8.50 ...we booked through a company named a good company with yellow busses....they had good contact with the railway in Dunedin.....we had the back carriage which was half full so wonderful for photos....on the way up....can buy coffee pies etc on board....we then had a 2hr tour with tbe same company for $124 all up....it filled the day in nicely... if you go this way get of the ship early to get your ......place

No but could have been tempted...we flew Jetstar to Hawaii then had 5 hour brake and continued on to LA with Hawaiian air....only thought is hubby is tall 6.3 and he couldn't put his head back using the neck pillows...nothing there to support it.. our neighbors are just recently back flying with Qantas and more than happy with there economy seats..and he is a big guy....they felt it wad the timing that suited them....as in flying at night forced them to sleep for 5 to 6 hours

And Does the Divendins (spelling) pay much for 100 shares...thanks
