Thanks so much for posting! Don't cruise until October but imagine activities won't change much. :)

I used my Carnival gift cards to set up a "cash" account at guest services when I boarded in Long Beach, than pulled out the balance in cash from the casino the night before debarkation. No problem :)

Yay!! Thanks, enjoy your cruise!

My husband has a better VIFP offer than I do. He is Gold, I'm Platinum. If he books a cruise as passenger #1 and I am passenger #2, will we still have "priority" stamped on our luggage tags? I think I booked our last couple cruises with me being passenger #1 so I'm wondering if our luggage tags would still read "priority." Thanks in advance for your feedback to anyone who has dealt with this or something similar.

what are the gift cards about? what's the deal with them
thanks
They are Carnival Gift Cards in values of $100. or $500. sold with a 10% discount at AARP and Verizon. You can use them for deposits on your cruise, paying off your cruise, or onboard credit during your cruise. Basically 10% off your cruise depending on how many you are able to buy.

I just checked Verizon and AARP, both are sold out. They need to release these in batches at different times of the day, they always seem to be sold out by the time those of us on the West coast wake up
I bought 4-$100 cards from 'aarp' today on the west coast just past midnight, 12:30am. Hope this helps.
The $100 Carnival Cards sell for $90 and ship for 59 cents. Reward points 1000 needed also, but very easy to obtain!

Yay, AARP! I just bought 4 of the $100.00 Gift Cards to use on our cruise. They are still available :)

I know that the Chef's Table seats 14. I'm wondering if this is for couples only? I would love to try it once and maybe even go solo, though my husband will be on the cruise. This would not be his cup of tea. He can barely sit through dinner in the main dining room. He thinks the meal is too drawn out, although lately he's been making it all the way to dessert! Have any of you gone solo or without your mate? I wouldn't want to bump a couple for one person either. Thanks in advance for your replies...

Wondering who is responsible for the up keep on the white dome at the Port of Long Beach. We frequently cruise out of this port and I have never ever seen the dome so brown and green with what looks like dirt and mold. This is what it looked like in January 2015. Anyone know if it has been cleaned up yet?

Here are some short videos showing the balcony and view of our obstructed balcony cabin 5236 on the Miracle. We loved this cabin and wanted to book it again for our upcoming cruise but someone beat us to it! Oh well next time :)

We really enjoyed our 7a on Spirit's sister ship Miracle. Here are some short videos showing the balcony and view on our obstructed cabin 5236.

We had the obstructed bowling alley balcony on our recent Miracle cruise. We loved it and because it was a "7a" the pricing was great! Here are some short videos showing the balcony and view of our cabin 5236.

Wow, did I ever luck out. Just returned from our cruise on Saturday and made sure I finally tried the bitter and blanc and all the cold soups and enjoyed them all. Now I won't feel like I missed something. I do think the new desserts sound very interesting and can't wait until the good reviews and pictures start pouring in!
I think I may have messed up re: excursions
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I used gift cards to pay for our shore excursions online with no problem at all. By the way the Carnival gift cards are still available right now on the Aarp website...
