Good afternoon!  It’s been a while since I last posted, though I read daily.  This is MY day, as an only child of only children, so a good day to get back to posting.  Also, we were able to visit Fanning Island, on Rotterdam VI, in 2012.  Sorry I can’t post pictures, but enjoyed seeing the ones shown, today.

Rotterdam is in port, we are too, and we both tested negative! Woohoo! So excited to board soon.

Hello from Ft Lauderdale!  We had an early morning flight from very cold CLE to nice and warm FLL.  I think I saw Nieuw Amsterdam from the air as we were landing.  We had our Covid tests yesterday afternoon, and can’t be sure if we’ll get our results before boarding time, tomorrow.  We’re staying close to the hotel, since we can get all our meals, here.  Sure hope to be boarding Rotterdam VII, tomorrow!

Next Sunday, if all goes well, we should be sailing away on Rotterdam VII.  When we disembark on January 29th,  we will transfer, somehow, to Sky Princess for an additional 7 days at sea.  This will be the largest ship we’ve ever sailed!

I hope that’s a misprint because that’s our Rotterdam cruise!

Word came from HAL yesterday afternoon, that our Nieuw Amsterdam Jan. 29th cruise was cancelled.  Now we’ll see if there is another ship, in port, we can try to book.  (We’re still onboard Rotterdam on Jan. 23rd for 6 days.)

Hmmmm.  We’re still planning to board NA on January 29th.  Fingers crossed

We have cancelled our 14 day cruise on Rotterdam, Jan. 9 - Jan 23.  We will be boarding Rotterdam on Jan. 23, for a 6 day cruise that ends on Jan. 29.  We noticed that the Nieuw Amsterdam was also in port, on that day, and were able to book it for 7 days, Jan. 29 - Feb. 5th!  We are hoping that "things" will be better for cruising later this month.   Pat

We have to make up our minds whether to go or to cancel our January cruises, on Rotterdam.  Love the posts and pictures from our Dailyites onboard now.    

We should be boarding on Jan. 9th.  CDC says no one should cruise now.

Good morning!  I'm never at the computer in the morning, but while there, today, I decided to check the Daily on the big screen.  I have been reading every day, but not posting for not being able to do so on my phone.  I have been able to post on Roll Calls, on the computer, so I'll see if this works, today. 

We are planning to be onboard Rotterdam VII from Jan. 9th - 29th, a 14 day and 6 day back to back.  There have been several itinerary changes, so the Ship is becoming the main itinerary, which is fine by me.  Thanks to Rich and Roy for the Daily, and to all who post each day.  I hope this time I can get onboard again.

Sailing on Rotterdam in January, so enjoy all the posts and reviews about this new ship.

Wonderful to see the scenery in Glacier Bay!  It was so covered in clouds on our August 7th cruise.

Thank you for taking us along, again!  We were aboard on cruise#3, and it’s nice to revisit each week.
