Yay! Welcome home and thank you both for taking us along! Love your reviews and Patti's pictures.

I think we sailed at 73% last week. We had a cove balcony and there was a max of 6 inches between the bed and the balcony door and window. I really didn't like the tiny bedside shelves. Too small to be of much use and when I dropped something I had to be a gymnast to retrieve it. We had a nice time, and we're booked again next year, but I like the Dream class or smaller better.

We test at 9 am Friday. Cruising ...hopefully..Saturday. I'm not packing yet. This is the most nerve wracking thing ever and I hope it ends soon. Good luck and safe travels everyone!

We already received our assigned balcony room for our cruise in January. We're pleased at the location. Kind of surprised to get assigned this early. We don't normally do guaranteed, but got a great offer. Being so early, any chance they could move us? I suppose we'll just have to hope they don't.

Great review and wonderful pictures! So enjoy following along with you both. Happy sails!!

I wasn't given...other...as an option today. Perhaps they are getting more strict. I'm going to go with CVS and hope all goes well. Thanks for your help everyone.

I wanted to buy the tests, but they first ask why I wanted them and none of the options were for travel, except returning to US. Perhaps this is new? But I couldn't lie and purchase them. The other options were symptoms, exposure, etc. Nothing that applies to us.

Stunning pictures! Thank you so much!

So excited to see you and Patti sailing again. All your older reviews kept me sane during covid! We leave in about a month on the Mardi Gras.

usually when I see these kinda of posts I think “their numbers probably aren’t much worse in reality than NY State” (where I live). And I’m usually right.
But I just looked up the SC numbers from tests reported yesterday. 31.8% positivity rate???? Holy.
I quit looking at tests a long time ago. I look at hospital occupancy, etc. I wish the covid was over, but we're not overrun.

You don't want to come to the upstate of SC then. Grocery stores and Walmart maybe 60% with masks on. Many people think masks are a joke here.No enforcement at all, Even store and restauant employees just have masks on down on their neck not covering there mouth or nose, we just go in a store or restauant for to go and get out fast.
I'll stay in the lowcountry. Sorry people upstate are being unreasonable.

I am from SC and I see absolutely no one without a mask anywhere. You aren't allowed inside any building without a mask. Am I sick of it? Yes. Do I wear one. You bet I do. And I have never seen anyone without a mask. Not in any store or restaurant, unless you are at your table eating. People here are compliant and caring of others. I don't know where rs45 is from, but I live in a suburb of Charleston.

The service at both these specialty restaurants has always been outstanding. I would say both are also a mix of couples and families. At Ji Ji's, you fill out a certain amount of items on a paper. The pens rarely work...lol...the spare ribs are to die for. I know we always get fried rice and some kind of noodles.
Everything is delicious and huge servings to split. They have a crepe dessert that is filled with citrus ice cream. I wish I had one right now! For the price, you can't beat these two restaurants.

We go to this restaurant if it's on the ship. It's free at lunch. For dinner, I love the meatballs as an appetizer and with the spaghetti. My husband likes the chicken parm, which is huge. One dessert I always get is a scoop of the cappuccino gelato. It comes with something, but I ask them to just bring me the gelato. I don't recall a lot of seafood. I'm not a fan of that either.

Saw some pics. She's got some old style Carnival glitz. I love that!

Yes, you lose the OBC. It's 300 if you rebook from a cancelled 5 nite cruise. We are in the same boat. No pun intended.
We have to call our Carnival PvP on the date of final payment due and it can be stretched two weeks. We believe November will be cancelled, so we're risking losing our $.
-
We have a vaccine for the flu and the flu still takes tens of thousands of lives every year. I always take the flu shot and I've still gotten the flu twice. I don't hang my hopes on a vaccine.

We are booked on the Breeze end of November too. We're going to try to extend our final payment. I feel sure this will be cancelled. We have another booked in March. We'll see. I don't think we will book another if November is cancelled.
The OBC is nice, though, so maybe something way down the road.

You can ask to have your final payment date moved closer to your cruise. They may say no, but they do say yes sonetimes.

Last month we got the beach bags. Have a great cruise!

We just got off the Ecstasy Monday. It was a 4 night...just a filler...lol! But we loved it. I know you'll enjoy a 12 day! I'm jealous! Let me know if you have specific questions. We have cruised RC four times, NCL once and Carnival 40 times! We're in our 60's and the only cruise we saw lots of rambunctious teenagers was on college spring break. They were having a great time and didn't bother us one bit. Yes, this is an older, smaller ship. But it does have guy's burgers and the taco bar.
We never encountered long lines. The staff is absolutely amazing. Have a great time!

The premier cocktail party normally starts at 5pm...after muster. Have a great time! Casual attire is fine. And it generally lasts about an hour.
-
We have taken upsells on premiers and never lost our perks. We even took an upsell on our last ultra. Our stuff from the casino sometimes has been left in the first cabin we booked, but easily taken care of by the casino hosts. And all of our upsells recently have been via email.
Hope you have a wonderful cruise!

I miss the priority boarding too. We cruised the MG in October. It took over 2 hours to board. Long, long lines and crowded every step. I put this in my survey.
