Hi, just wondering how I can find out which nights these events will take place on our October 10th Intensive Croatia trip?

    Thank you for any help.

The Azamazing Evening should be listed in the available excursions on your cruise - it’s the one with the zero cost - it may be listed as a Destination Celebration if it will be held onboard.
To see the excursions log into your account, click on Upcoming Cruises then Manage my Reservation. Scroll down to excursions then click on the paper/pencil icon on the right and you should see the excursions. If you have already booed excursions you will see two tabs - booked on the left & available on the right.

You won’t know when the White Night will be until you get onboard, but it’s likely to be on a night when the ship is in port until late.

We have just booked our first Azamara cruise and found the whole online process terrible. We selected an inside room but didn't see a way to choose a room, we just selected the cheapest and we have been given room 4028 on the ship Onward.

We can't find any views of this room or the layout. Does anyone have any details of this room? Do you know if it has a sofa?

    Thanks

4028 is an accessible cabin, so it’s bigger than most.

Does anyone know the current price of one Chef's Table and what type of offerings are available? Thanks!!

Not sure, judging by the discount quoted for the package of 3 Chefs Tables, it must be $125 or thereabouts.

As I haven’t posted link to the spreadsheet for a while (tho’ it is on the first post in the topic (thank you Host Jazzbeau), here it is.

Today we did a short stay in Port Louis, Mauritius. Basically a fuel stop but we did manage to go ashore for a whirlwind tour. Getting ready to sail for another four days at sea before Port Stanley.

Last night’s dinner under the stars was nice and we enjoyed a couple songs from the Marky’s.

I have a cruise coming up in six weeks and wanted to compare Azamara's excursion prices to some independent tours.   But now, although I can see the excursions, I cannot see any prices!   I have tried a couple of ways to try to access the excursions, but I still see just a description and no price.    Any suggestions??  (btw, I did manage to see prices some weeks ago, when I purchased one as part of the OBC shore excursions credit.)

Presumably you have logged into your account, clicked Manage my Reservation & clicked on the paper & pencil icon & then on the available tab. If so & you can’t see the prices, try through a different browser such as Chrome

Thank you, something worked as I  was able to access the few excursions that are available although it said my booking number was invalid.  This site is quite a departure from my previous sailings with Viking.  This board is invaluable so far and I've only been booked for 4 days!!!

Have you had a look at the topic ‘Tips for Azamara Newbies?

  7. Firstly your Reservation number is your booking code, that is what you should enter when setting up your Azamara Account. Once you have set up your account, you should see Upcoming Cruises. Click on that then on Manage my Reservation. After that scroll down to Shore Excursions, then click on the paper/pencil icon on the right. That will show any available excursions (although as your cruise is not for well over a year, there may not yet be too many available).

Think you may be right that it’s possibly too early to confirm the departure port.

    Have to Azamazing evening stopped?

We’ve done 2 Azamara cruises in the last 8 months on Pursuit & Journey, they were still very good. Azamazing evenings haven’t stopped, but some are now onboard. In November/December our Azamazing evening was onshore, but it could have been done onboard as we just queued to get on a bus, went to a tent behind a big hotel in Colombo, saw a show of local drumming & singing then went back on the bus. This February the evening was onboard in Walvis Bay, Namibia, and was brilliant, we had an amazing choir, a great acapella group and a group of local dancers. They put on two shows so everyone could see it in comfort and there was no queuing or bus trips.

So 3 weeks ago I booked a 3 week tour of South Africa which included a 12 night Azamara cruise (January 25). I’ve had murder ever since. It took me 3 weeks to finally get my confirmation number so that I was able to start making my excursion bookings. That confirmation number finally arrived yesterday (cabin number also assigned)  I Was able to log in last night and start viewing the available excursions. I Went to log in today to actually get them booked but my cruise had been cancelled and I wasn’t able to book anything. I Rang Azamara and spoke to a very excitable lady that had either suffered a stroke or was in the midst of a fantastic session of day drinking whilst working from home. Her speech was so slurred I really struggled to follow along. She wasn’t able to tell me when or why my booking was cancelled but was able to confirm that it was cancelled. Her managers didn’t know anything either. I Spoke to my UK tour operator too who could see no reason for the cancellation. The tour is going ahead and bookable, the cruise is going ahead and bookable. What on earth is going on? Is their booking system really so glitchy? Am I booked or not? This is a big holiday for me with many bucket list moments but I’m really starting to worry about their competence and wether or not they will deliver. I’ve wanted to sail Azamara for a long time but I’m worried now that I’ve made the wrong choice.

I’d try ringing again to speak to someone different.

The $250 OBC is all that's offered - no offer to transfer our existing $300. We've had similar happen on other cruise lines with much better recompense - particularly Oceania where we have always had a generous FCC + OBC. Maybe they care more about their customers than Az do. As a minimum to consider rebooking I've asked for the $250 to be applied as a FCC and the $300 OBC to be transferred to a new booking - I won't be holding my breath!

When we transferred our deposit to a new cruise following the cancellation by Azamara of our Black Sea cruise, we automatically got all the OBC from our original booking.

Sort of a Azamara Cabin related Question: The Tahitian Princess an R Class ship built in 1999 is now the Oceania Sirena. I have sailed on Azamara before and am trying to map the Oceania Penthouses on Deck 8 to the Azamara Club Continent Suite locations.  I am trying to determine which Club Continent Suite like cabins to avoid on Oceania Sirena. Note: I am using Grandma Cruising's Azamara Stateroom spreadsheet.  Any help would be appreciated!!

That spreadsheet isn’t mine - it was put together by uktog then recently taken over by LoonBoarder

The compensation details are below and all changes must be made by 04/05/24. If no changes are made by the end of business on 04/05/24, the bookings will be cancelled, and refunds will be processed.

    Compensation Item

    Change to another sailing

    OBC (Non-Suite) per booking

    $250

    OBC (Suite) per booking

    $500

So in order to make more money from a charter my cruise is cancelled and the so called “compensation” is to move to another sailing ( but only given 1 week to choose one) and receive $250 OBC - our booked cruise had $300 OBC attached, so they are offering to take $50 off me for the inconvenience!

I would assume the $250 OBC would be in addition to the existing OBC - that’s what I’d expect & be pushing for.

  13. I know speciality booking times on Azamara are offered at 6/6:30 and 8/8:30 however we have never had a problem with arriving earlier than our booking time. We like to eat somewhere between 7:15 and 7:45. We book the 8 or 8:30 time, then turn up at about 7:45. We’ve nearly always been seated immediately and no-one has ever told us we are too early!

I am staying in a suite, so this is problematical for me, as I prefer dining with others.

You don’t have to dine in the speciality restaurant, you can choose to use Discoveries MDR initially so you can share a table or two and maybe meet people who would join you in a speciality restaurant later in the cruise.

  15. I’m sure you’re right - seems as if you’d either love it or hate it. Looks fascinating to me, looking at real life not the manicured tourist slice of life that you see in many ports
