    I have been researching this, too. Found mixed reviews online. Please post info, if you decide to go there... We were thinking abut walking to the beach from our cruise ship next January.

    The Carnival site used to show the breakdown, but apparently they removed the detailed info. From what I recall, stewards got the highest percentage, then dining room crew, maitre de, lido staff, and I do not recall any details about backroom crew, as it says now. That was probably a smaller insignificant amount that may not have been listed before.

    We are looking for the same info. In 2007, we walked to a beach area in Freeport close to the ship; however, the island has changed so much, it no longer looks like it is there.

    We are on this cruise too. A B2B, with this week being our second leg. Agree about the weather experience—we live in west Michigan.
