Since the cabins are assigned by VV, do you call and switch to this cabin? We are by the elevators and would like to move down a bit.

I Keep getting upgrade offers for inside YC. We have Fantasica balcony from Brooklyn. My question, for those who have sailed from NY, how often were you able to use your balcony coming and going from NY? Will I miss it if I switch to the inside YC? I like to sit out there and have my coffee in the morning. Also, i'm going with my friend and not my DH, so it gives us a little more space with the balcony.

Haven't had a bottle in the room on MSC before, but on other lines they would have it open for you and set up.

Go to the right when you get off, George's bar is just past the gate. It's just a stand basically with drinks and some chairs, we didn't stop but passed it on the way to a less crowded part of the beach.

The hotel said we can leave the car there, so even at $100 each way it's cheaper than the parking at the pier. Hopefully will be even less than that.

How much was the Lyft? And where from? We are planning on staying at a hotel in Staten Island, leaving the car there (free parking) and then Uber or Lyft.

I didn't know not to create a Voyager account until after status match. Now it is continuing to use my old voyager number, I even created a new account with a different email. I put in the new voyager number when I created the new account, but somehow it still linked back to my old number?? I will try calling, however, I've read that's a nightmare. Has anyone else had to deal with this?

For those of you who have stayed in a spa cabin. I want to book an appointment ahead of time. When I go to purchase there is no discount applied. If I wait to book on the ship will the prices go up? Is it worth waiting until we are onboard, or will they discount the pre-purchase after?

I've done several of both. They both have their positives. RCCL tends to have a younger crowd and more children. Their entertainment is excellent and lots to do all day or night. The food is good. Princess is prob our favorite overall. The age group tends to be a little older, but a nice mix. The food and service are excellent. I feel Princess food is a little better than RCCL. The entertainment seems a little more refined on Princess. Overall we like them both and will continue to cruise both.
