  1. This is through Amex Offers, so you have to have an American Express card and check your Amex Offers. If it's not there, you're probably out of luck.

Thanks! I searched all of my offers & don’t see it. I have the Delta Amex, so maybe it isn’t included in this promo.

Not on Delta AMEX :loudcry: (Hubby has that one)

but I did have it on my AMEX Everyday Card - 10,000 membership points...which I use for Amazon $$ - works for me paying off the Med Cruise anyways.

  2. Hi, you did not get your answer yet ..... so I will try. We cruised our from Civitavecchis ( and back) last year in July. Our transfer company's van ( private transfer) could get us directly to the ship and picked us up at the ship. There were many other vans , cars that were doing the same ....... but some did not have access to the ships and they only took their passengers ( or picked them up) at the port entrance. So not every vehicle can enter the port. I do not know who can and who can not. Check with the transfer company that you hired and ask - they will know if they have access . It is very convenient to be picked up at the ship.

Thank you! this is the exact info I needed - I will email and ask if they have Port access.

  3. Sorry to hijack this post but need a question answered.

I have booked with Rome Shuttle Limousine for (4) trips; Airport pick up to hotel day before Embarkation, Rome Hotel to Port, Port to Rome Hotel and then Hotel to Airport...plus a night tour one night while in Rome after the cruise.

My question is to anyone with knowledge...can the Limo company car (Van) take us straight to the ship? It seems that from a Port map I saw, there is a Shuttle from the parking lot to the ship? is that correct? We will be boarding for Yacht club if that makes a difference. Husband noticed it on a map and asked if we were going straight to the ship or if we need to switch from the hired car to a Shuttle to the ship. Your advice is appreciated this is our First Med cruise, first MSC cruise and First Yacht club cruise all rolled up into one experience.

  4. Hello - DH and myself - plus my DM and our DS (23) are cruising in side by side Yacht Club Deluxe cabins this September on our first MSC cruise, West Med ITN from Rome. It is an 8 day cruise with no sea days...all ports.

Does anyone have a guess on what nights or how many Formal Nights there will be and if the European Cruises are a little more formal?

We have only ever done Caribbean cruises we used to do the Tux and gown thing but recently it has been reduced to Shirt and Tie with me wearing a LBD. If those cruises are more formal can I pre-order a rented TUX(s) for DH and DS to have waiting on the Ship? I don't want to sacrifice the Suitcase space on international flights.

    Thank you!!

  5. Hello,

DH and I have cruised many times; NCL, Carnival, RC and Princess, this will be our first time on MSC and our first time in a Suite. MSC was so tempting with the great pricing, that we jumped at the chance to take a Med cruise in the Yacht Club for not much more than what we would normally spend on a Caribbean cruise.

My question is I have read on these boards before about emails, back and forth, before the cruise on other lines with the Concierge about pre-booking or pre-arranging items for the Suite...Does MSC do this? I booked with a TA will they still reach out to me or her?

We have 2 Suites next to each other - DH and myself then my DS and DM next door, since we eat in the Yacht Club Restaurant do we need to request that we are linked and can eat together or will they be fine with us just showing up and eating together at whatever time we want? I'm going to book most excursions before the cruise so I'm not sure what we would even need from the Concierge, or what they actually do?

Can anyone think of any advice they might offer?

For either; MSC, the Yacht Club, the ports (this is our first Med Cruise - but we have been to Europe before). We leave from Rome, La Spezia, Genoa, Cannes, La Palma, Barcelona, Ajaccio back to Rome.

We will be on the MSC Fantasia Sept 28-Oct 5...flying in on the 27th and flying home on the 8th.

    Thank you.

  6. We are on Jade in December so nice to see your report. For the tour you did in Curacao, did you literally just walk off the ship and find the tour people hanging around the pier?

I know we did similar thing in Aruba last year so hoping this will be the same for Curacao.

    Pete

Yes (We went to the Island info booth - Tour tent it right behind there ask for someone that will go to the Caves as part of their tour) we were just going to hire a taxi to go to the caves - but they wanted $30 (each way for the taxi) the Tour was $20 per person - so we saved $20 and also got a little tour around the island - once you get to the Caves it's a $8 pp entrance fee.

  7. Embarkation outof NY was about an hour at 12:00pm. We got onboard and went to the Grand PacificDining Room for lunch. Rooms weren’t ready until after the Muster drill.

During thetime on board we ate at Moderno, La Cucina, Teppanyaki and LeBistro. The foodwas wonderful in each restaurant but service in La Cucina was HORRIBLE. We waitedalmost 45 minutes from appetizer to main course and it was not busy. The other nightswe ate in the Mining Dining room, Alizar. The food was fine here also, otherthan a one off dish. We had no real complaints, our server was over whelmedwith several tables he was covering – one night the couple next to us got upand left between appetizer and main course because they got tired of waiting – Ithink the only real draw back from the traditional sittings as compared to Norwegian’sfreestyle is that with traditional set times everything is organized anddelivered at the same time with freestyle the server is constantly walking backand forth to the kitchen getting dishes for other tables. Just our opinion and thoughtsbased on observation.

We hadbreakfasts and lunches in O’Sheehans – the chicken wings were always yummy. Weate in the buffet one day for lunch and although the food is fine – the peopleare crazy. It’s like a mad house up there – so loud. DH and I were sitting at atable and someone asked if they could sit with us, we said of course…then aftera few minutes we were slowing edged out of our table and it was taken over bythe family of the woman that asked to sit with us – very rude. We tried to sitout by the pool one day and enjoy the games and the Beer Fest but with everyonecamped out at their tables for the day or people playing cards or reading abook - there were no tables to be found – so we sit at the pool bar.

Onboard activitiesgot repeated over the course of the 5 sea days – we did the Canvas by UPainting, we shopped, I did the Spa specials twice, we napped, we drank…samething each day. The main thing we did was play trivia – we love it. Now I’m notsaying we are the smartest people or anything but we do pretty well, NORMALLY.One thing we noticed was a group or 2 that had sailed Norwegian many times (usonly once before on the Escape). Norwegian seems to use the same triviaquestions on every ship for all of their trivia so these few groups had all theanswers and by the 2nd and 3rd day of trivia is was getting very old thatthey seemed to find to it funny that they won every game – what’s the fun inthat? We do trivia for the challenge and to see if we know the answers not toOD on all the free crappy prizes.

(FYI, I have a collection of cheap Carnival Ships on Stick) but I don’t need 10more beer cozies or luggage handles.

We did 2 shipexcursions; Bonaire (Kayaking / Snorkeling – which we thought would be throughthe mangroves but ended up being just right next to the shipL) and in Jamaica (Horseback riding, this was great as we also rode through the surf) – in the other 3 ports we didour own tours from someone we found in the port area. In Curacao we found a $20pptour that took us to the Hato Caves and an island tour – great deal. In Arubawe took a taxi to the other side of the island and ate at Zee Rovers (we hadwatched many YouTube videos of this restaurant and it was well worth it.) PuntaCana is a boring port – we didn’t find anything worth doing, we got back on theship and I did a Spa visit.

Crew on theShip – Jose Gonzales was our cabin steward in Forward Balcony #8520 and he was great– we had SO MANY issues with our toilet not flushing correctly – like everyother day it didn’t want to work – he kept having to adjust the valve. Wecalled Customer service 3 times – the first time the girl tried to explain tome that ship toilets work differently than regular toilets… Renzo the Bartenderin the Bliss Lounge was fantastic – he did brain teasers. Always knew our namesand drinks I think he even had our card number memorized because he stoppedasking for our card. Sasa the head waiter in O’Sheehans and LeBistro waswonderful and funny. Dave at the Atrium Bar makes a great Mimosa and Peach Bellini.

TheEntertainment was hit or miss – the Production crew really only did 1 big showand that was Elements (which was great). The stars of the ship was the Russiancouple that did the Arial acts. Husband and Wife team and they were the bestthing I’ve ever seen on a ship. The Diva3 singing group was slow paced. TheComedian Julie was funny and the Magician and his partner were good enough. Wedidn’t go to the Magic/Comedian show so I can’t comment.

Commentsabout the cruise in general – this was one of the smaller ships we have done,it was convenient to find everything. The casino was located in an area that wedidn’t have to walk through most of the time (unlike Carnival) so that was aplus – we’d love to gamble but HATE the smell of cigarettes. Which brings tomind another issue – someone near us was smoking on their balcony at nightbecause it kept getting sucked into our room!? We would wake up in the middleof the night and smell it. All in all it was a good trip.

  8. Sorry to revive an old thread but didn't want to start a new one and this came up when I did a search...does anyone know if this activity has rolled out to the fleet? DH and I will be on the 11 day 10/26 Jade out of NY and we love doing these on date nights...with 5 sea days this would be a great thing to do and since we are driving home after we dock in Miami no worries about flying with them.

  9. OK, so here's a kinda weird story about myself. I was on the Breakaway. Earlier in the cruise I had gone to the gift shop and bought a few souvenirs, the usual stuff, t shirt, magnets, key chains. Well I grab the bag and stick it in my suitcase when I get back to my cabin, never even checked the contents. So last night of the cruise, I get all packed and decide to hit the sack a little early so I hang up my clothes for disembarkation, put on my pajamas and go to bed. The phone rings. It's the gift shop. Sir, you left some items and we are calling to tell you to pick them up. "Can I come tomorrow?" "No, we are closed" Can someone bring them to my cabin? "No, if you don't come and get them we will just return the items to stock. No refunds". OK, I'm peeved I admit it. Here I am in my damn pajamas and you wait till the last night to call? Grrr! So, I put on my bathrobe over my PJs and march off to the gift shop. I'll be damned if you keep my key chains! You should have seen the girls face when I showed up in my "evening attire", lol. By now I was thirsty so I stopped at the bar and downed a few drinks before bed. The patrons and bartender were quite amused. [emoji6][emoji483]

Speaking of Bathrobes (your reason is completely understandable)...we did a cruise last December and on the first day we noticed a couple in their Cruise for St. Jude shirts (ok they must have been on Carnival before no big deal) but they also had on the bathrobes from the cabin, FIRST DAY?.. but it gets better, this was a 4 day weekend cruise for my niece's Graduation celebration. We saw these people everyday and they had the SAME SHIRTS and BATHROBES on EVERYDAY? I can only guess that their luggage was lost? I hope? But we are talking every time we saw them.

  10. I'm on the 11 day Jade out of NY on the 26th and we have not received any info about SJ, P changing...makes no difference to us. We'd love to go and see the City (only port on this ITN we haven't been to yet) and spend some money to help their economy but we realize they may not be functioning at all, yet. We have 5 port days, 5 sea days and Drink packages...one more sea day would be fine with us. Any time on a boat at sea is a good day for us...they can dock wherever they want :D

  11. DH and I will be in the Jade in Oct and on a few date nights we have done a couple of the side by side paintings... I thought I had read that this might be a new activity on ships?? Any idea if Norwegian does this... have only ever been on the escape but that was with extended family and we were always so busy I'm not sure if they had it or not...thanks!

  12. Not to Highjack the Thread or anything but I have a question about Status/Yacht Club and hoping someone might know the answer.

DH and I have cruised many times but never in a Suite with Benefits...next year we are trying the MSC Fantasia for a MED Cruise because of pricing and hubby getting black card status match - my question is I know on other lines we could get priority seating in the theater for the shows - does MSC do that also? Just don't want to have to hurry from port to dinner and then to a show, if we will have seating reserved for us it will make for one less thing to worry about...I know it's not a huge deal just wanted to know ahead of time. Thanks - looking forward to our first Yacht Club experience.

  13. I was told it matches to silver. I haven't tried it yet, but that was the answer I received on this board when asked.

Yes, Gold on Carnival matches to Silver on MSC - just got my Match...DH got Back because of his Platinum with Marriott.

  14. You will not need to purchase a drinks package for the rest of the ship. Since April 1st last, YC guests can enjoy drinks shipwide at no extra cost.

The Yacht Club experience is terrific - you'll be blown away at just how good it is! For the price, I doubt very much you'll ever get anything close - ever!

Have you applied for status-match yet? MSC will match your highest level from loyalty schemes with other cruiselines (and/or hotels) to their loyalty programme MSC Voyagers Club.

Yes we are very excited to be trying the SuiteLife, thank you...my TA told me about the status match - because we use different lines the highest I had was Gold from Carnival but DH travels for work and has Platinum Elite from Marriott and Espire from IHG so I used his Platinum for Marriott - waiting for the email back about which level we got matched to...not entirely sure what we will get for those matched statuses - but if they want to give them to us we will take them...

  15. Hello all,

DH and I have floated around on several cruise lines and had originally booked with Celebrity for a Med. Cruise next year but we just switched to MSC Fantasia for next September.

The deal/price for Yacht Club (we've never booked a Suite before) seemed to good to pass up - saving $1k per person from what we had on Celebrity (no suite).

Does someone have advice on how the drinks work? We know we get alcoholic beverages while in yacht club and from our mini-bar...what about while out and about on the ship? Should we buy a package or the vouchers for a certain number of drinks like I have read about.

Anything we should know about MSC in particular? We love cruising and are so happy to be going to Europe with our DS and my DM in the cabin next to us. My mother has wanted to go to Rome her entire life.

  16. Some info on our Group – We drove down from Jax to Ft. Lauderdale Wednesday night and stayed at the Holiday Inn near the port. All of us are work colleague girlfriends; with a total of 4 cabins (7 people) 2 in an Ocean view, 1 Single in an Ocean view, 2 in an inside and 2 in a Balcony – I was in the Inside cabin with a friend and we never felt cramped or overcrowded – there was a couch and a desk, both good places to sit so you didn’t have to lounge on the bed – but honestly we were only in our cabins to shower, change or sleep.

We had to board at Terminal 29 but we had to Park at the Mid-Port Garage outside Terminal 25 then take a shuttle back to 29.

It was very confusing after we dropped off our luggage because the directions on getting to the garage were not clear – so we took a wrong turn, got very turned around and spent probably close to 45 minutes just parking and getting back to the terminal.

Arrival time was 12:30. We waited in line about 30minutes for our checkin and then boarded right after we had our cards.

When we boarded the ship we headed straight to our cabins which were ready at 1:15, we dropped off our carry ons and headed for the promenade on 5 for a sandwich at the cafe then we had pizza at Sorrento’s. Both were quick and hit the spot.

We then made our way to deck 12 for some people watching and softserve ice cream from Sprinkles.

Soon it was muster drill time, luckily we didn’t muster outside, we met in the lounge. (Actually now I can’t remember which one but someone will guide you)

As always there were the people that talked, used their phone, generally didn't pay attention and dragged out the drill longer than necessary.

We check our rooms for luggage after the drill, everyone else got theirs, but mine was missing. As my fortunate luck would have it, I had bought an outfit at Target earlier during a pre-boarding pit stop, so I had a new shirt to change into while everyone else changed their full outfit. My luggage did arrive after dinner. Yay.

We had traditional dining at 6pm in the King Lear dining room deck 3 aft. All our cabins were deck 7 forward so we just walked all the way down the hall and then took the elevators to 3 every night.

Night 1 was the Mojo Menu.

I had the shrimp cocktail, escargot appetizers, the Prime Rib entrée. Table 500 - Our waiters were Ketut and Bling

We had prompt service and attentive bar staff every night.

The Prime Rib was clearly cooked past med rare but not enough for me to send it back – the flavor was still good.

After dinner we did a trivia session in the Schooner bar and then headed to bed – no Welcome aboard show for us.

Day 2 was formal night. Sea day – Saffron Menu

We made it to the dining room for breakfast at 8:30am. Normal breakfast fare – I had the classic.

Then changed clothes for a day of laying out. The sky was a little cloudy, the sun played peek a boo which was fine with me I burn easily so I had long yoga pants on and a light jacket. Honestly we had no interest in being out near the pool so I don't know about chair hogs since we were on deck 12. Johnny Rockets opened at 11:30am for lunch and we made it over at noon. And good thing we arrived when we did, the entire water front was full so we ate inside and even that fill up quickly behind us. You get a starter and entree and a dessert for $6.95... Milkshakes are separate. We all ordered something different and shared. Be forewarned that the cheese sauce for the fries is tasteless. Not kidding– TASTELESS!! Everything else was great. Service was great. After lunch we headed to the ice skating show "Strings", which was really good. Then we showered and got ready for formal night pictures.

No more lobster dinner on 5 day cruises. I had the lobster bisque and bay scallops for starters, then the beef tenderloin for dinner. Tonight the cooking temp for the beef tenderloin was perfect and it was delicious. Someone else in our group got the shrimp raviolis and said they were yummy. After dinner we headed to the production Show of Grease at 9pm. We got there about 30 minutes early to secure our seats and had a cocktail while we waited. It was a 90 minute show – plan accordingly, the show was jam packed with great singing, dancing and acting. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! I would hear someone at Disembarkation talking to their friend while we were waiting to get off the ship (more on that disaster later) anyway she was saying that RC will get an earful from her in the survey about how disappointing Grease was – I turned and asked “you didn’t like it?” and she replied “no, it was horrible – it didn’t stick to the movie plot for some parts”. So I had to remind her that it was the Broadway play version NOT the movie version. I don’t think she comprehended what I was saying , I tried to explain that they are different but I don’t think she believed me and she will probably still complain…but I will give Royal a huge point in the Win column for entertainment. This show was done right.

Day 3 was Cozumel – Pomodoro Menu

We got up around 7:30am…against all of our better wishes but our tour time had changed from meeting at 11:30 to meeting at 9:15 at the end of the dock. So we grabbed a quick coffee and breakfast at the café promenade and then headed off the ship.

Our Tour was the ship excursion of the Cozumel Island Tour and Overview which was to include a tour of the Chocolate factory – this was explained online as "see the manufacturing process, participate in a demonstration and sample delicious artisanal chocolate."

When we got to the Mayan Cacao company we stopped in front of a wall with drawings on it and we were told a story of how the Mayan’s used to make chocolate, then we were lead into a VERY HOT cabana – the doors were drawn shut, there was no moving air, and we watched a video (while standing) of the chocolate making process. I almost passed out – now I’m from Florida (born and raised) I can handle hot days, I can handle humid days, but this was HORRIBLE. After the video we moved on to a small outside theater, thank goodness it had seats and ceiling fans, we watched a man hand blend different ingredients into a chocolate drink that was used to celebrate Mayan festivities. After that we were funneled into the gift shop then loaded back upon the bus for the next “picturesque” sightseeing spot. We were told it was great for seeing flamingos and birds – we when got there it was a road sidestop of merchandise and drinks – with a look out to the Sea for pictures – it was a very pretty view but no Flamingos or birds in sight and a ton of trash along the sea line. We only stayed for 15 minutes then got back on the bus for our drive back to port. The guide was really informative and I had no problem with his knowledge of the country but given the choice I would not recommend this tour nor would I do it again.

When we got back to port we ate at Margaretville, shopped a little and then got back on the ship. If was about 4pm by now and time for trivia (I love trivia) it’s my favorite thing to do on a cruise and I sucked one of my travel peeps into the fun with me. I won this one and got a highlighter as my prize (yay me). After that we all showered and got ready for dinner – I had the Arancini, Caprese salad and tapas plate appetizers with the tiger shrimp entrée.

After dinner we went to the 9pm show of the guest band that boarded while we were in Cozumel – I actually forget the name of the band but a terrible thing happened during the beginning of their second song. Someone (probably not with Royal after that incident)lowered the stage in the middle of their set and the guitar player didn’t notice the stage had opened and he FELL IN – like stepped to his left and went all the way to the bottom which I’m guessing was about 20-30 feet. It was really scary. I think the lead singer thought he was fine originally because he kept playing and singing but after about 1 minute he realized something was wrong – stopped the show, they all left the stage, finally the CD came out and told us the guitar player was fine that medical was attending to him for us to wait for the band to decide if they were going to keep playing their set. We stayed just so we could get an update on the poor man. Finally the band came out tells us the show must go on and they played a revised set list with the help from some of the house band horn section. They were great and we enjoyed the show. When we got out of the show we thought the ship was swaying alot and sailing at a faster speed for a leisurely sail day back to Ft. Lauderdale – which was about the time the Captain came over the speakers and said that due to a medical emergency were had turned around and were heading back to Cozumel to deliver the patient to the hospital. My cabin mate and I tried to stay up with some of our friends to watch the return to port and the evacuation but we gave up at 1am – the others stayed up until 2:30 and saw the guitar player removed from the ship and watch us sail away again. (later report was he broke his collar bone and a few ribs but would be fine)

Day 4 – last sea day – Pimento Menu

Today we woke up late, slept in and were all completely lazy. Breakfast was eaten in the windjammer – which I hate but we were so messed up with the time change and which watch was right that we were 30 minutes too late for the dining room. After breakfast some of us headed outside for more sunbathing and a few of us went to play trivia, do a selfie scavenger hunt around the ship, shop, have a pedi in the spa. We all went our own ways for the day only to meet up again for our last meal in the dining room.

Antipasti appetizer and the upcharge meal Surf and Turf – the Turf was EXCELLENT. The show tonight was the premier performance on this ship of the Once upon a Time, fairy tale show. It was really good but I wish they had turned down the mics on the band so that they didn’t drown out the singers; it was hard to hear the vocals over the music. Most of our group then when to the 70's disco party on the Promenade and had fun dancing late into the night.

Day 5 Disembarkation – the worst of all my cruises.

We were going to do self-disembarkation but then decided to go ahead and check our luggage and wait for our zone to be called. We had one last breakfast at café promenade and our Zone (14) was called at 9am. The info we were given the night before said that the elevators would only go to deck 3 and then we would have to walk down to 1 – so we step on the elevator pressed 3 got off and stood in line with the others. No order was to be had – people were cutting into line they were breaking up family groups – it was a mad house…then we STOPPED. We waited and waited and waited some more. Must have been 30+ minutes crammed in a very hot hall-way. As we stared to inch along barley moving up 2 people at a time for the next 15-20 minutes we can see that the elevators which were not supposed to be working on deck 1 were unloading people right into the path of people already in line and these people just pushed their way in – so we now have 4 elevators depositing people right into an already existing line of 3 decks full of people. By the time we got off the ship and though customs (use the mobile passport app like they suggest it cuts time off your wait, promise) it was after 10am –so we were in line for more than an hour – the longest it has ever take us to get off any ship. Also we docked at Terminal 25 which was different than Terminal 29 were we boarded. After you get off the ship you have to wait in line for customs and baggage – outside…dress accordingly it was hot.

And that’s it – our annual girls cruise was a success and 5 of us booked the Symphony for 2019 to sail with our hubbies.

Any questions? I didn't keep the Daily Compasses Sorry...no kids with us so can't speak about any of those activates, nor did we use the Flow Rider or rock wall.

  17. Recently we just got off the Liberty for a VERY short 3(2) day...so sad that we didn't get the Bitter and Blanc or the Grand Marnier Soufflé...I don't particularly enjoy the melting cake as it is just WAY to much Chocolate - So I ordered the Pie one night...WOW what a mistake, it was Blueberry and it was horrible. It was full of Corn starch to thicken it and it was a solid gel mass and bad crust. easier to stick with ice cream of the old faithful cheese cake...

  18. Unfortunately, it reads like just a laundry list of complaints, some of which have absolutely nothing to do with the switch or shortened nature of the cruise.

These types of emails are not easy for a company to respond to...there's too much there and way too many details that don't matter. (like explaining why you had to go this particular weekend, niece's graduation, cheerleader in college...etc). If someone has to try and read through this extra stuff to find out what the real problem is, you'll lose them.

Your issue with the things like the beverage package has nothing to do with the switch in ships...so why even bring it up? If it doesn't suit you or doesn't seem to be fair (in your eyes) that everyone has to buy it, then don't buy it. Problem solved. But mentioning it in this particular email only distracts from what your real complaint may be.

Sorry if it sounded like a laundry list of complaints - I was just giving details of why all the little things added up to an unenjoyable cruise. And it did matter why we couldn't change weekends because we were originally given the option to cancel or switch and we couldn't.

Also, I did not buy the beverage pack for just the reason I listed - just saying we would have purchased it, if we would have had the option to mix and match the Alcohol with the soda...I offered my opinion to Carnival, that is frequently stated on this forum, others would like to purchase the package if it didn't require that everyone in the same cabin purchase it - no harm in giving them one more persons opinion.

But no worries if you don't agree with the way I wrote my email to Carnival - they are handling my issues. I am happy to cruise Carnival and all other lines again. Already have 3 upcoming cruises booked.

  19. The "Go Best" deal was too good to pass up and pricing for 2018 is perfect - so Europe here we come - 2 Veranda Balcony cabins next to each other for DH and myself, with my DM and our DS next door. I did a land vacation to Italy in 2012 but I'm very excited to take a cruise and to add Greece stops.

Any advice from previous Reflection cruisers or Italy/Greece ... This will be our first time on Celebrity but I've heard nothing but great things so I'm sure it will be top notch.

  20. it was delayed due to the dry dock and repositioning (switching Valor out and bringing Liberty in) - we were scheduled for embarkation starting at 6pm - we were supposed to sail at 10...Muster took about an hour we sailed a little after 11. So, our 3 day cruise was literally 2 days and a couple hours. If I could have cancelled I would have but this was THE ONLY weekend we could cruise between College Fall Term and College Spring Term for our kids. Very upset with Carnival and the poor job that was done with this cruise.
