I too am now confused. Outside of when the ship is docked, don't all the chairs on the ship move,as well as everything else in it ???
-
Could it be the attack of the "Chair Hogs " ?!
-
I am adult six feet tall, but always ask for and get a high chair. Since I am super double elite stupendous magnificent Zenith class ,I enjoy looking down on the passengers who are not. I have been promised a crown and a throne ,but that is yet to come so I'll just have to make do with the high chair.
-
I am so confused about this chair hog thing.
I did not realize that you could bring pets with you on a cruise. I thought the only animals allowed were therapy and guide dogs. Are these therapy hogs we are talking about that sit poolside with their owners ? And do they become upset in the MDR when they see pork dishes being served ? Finally do you get priority disembarkation if if you have a therapy hog ?

I always thought the canopies were too small to protect me from the afternoon setting sun.I hope these are larger.

That is my dream cruise! #1 on my bucket list!
I've done it 4 times...There will be a 5th before I go to that great cruise ship in the sky.

Galapagos on the Xpedition B2B

I've heard the REAL reason Celebrity went to rectangular pizza from triangular is that someone poked his eye out on out on the point and sued.

Elite Plus does receive a 10% discount on drink packages.
Karon
Thanks for the info.
-
premium drink package duplicates many of the benefis I have in Elite plus yet I like the cinvenies of not having to sign with the package. I wish X would just discount packages a few dollars to elite +. Don't think that will happen.
-
Problem i have with the elite + package is some of the benefits, free specialty drinks, free wines.and happy hours i already enjoy by purchasing the premium drinks package.
i realize I could pass on the drink passage and supplement my benefits buying drinks a la carte, but I like the convenience if not having to sign all the time.
Maybe after a time Celebrity could discount the drink packages a few dollars a day for elite + members.

I have already suggested that we can combine the two megatopics by discussing points awarded for dress code compliance, particularly whilst chair hogging.
-
Points??? To heck with points! We don't need to dress up for no stinkin' POINTS!!!
Then, suddenly, there was the sound of many trumpets...
The raging wind was stilled, and the turbulent seas were calmed...
The clouds parted and glorious enlightenment shown down from above! :)
Oh, great and all knowing fashion police... Oh, ye omnipotent gods of fashion and style, I have now seen the error of my ways!
From this moment forward, I too, shall wear a TUX!!!
Jeez... if ya just woulda said that in the first place...
It might not work for you though unless you had my incredibly good looks.

you might get more ideas on this board
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=210
it is ALL about Cozumel!
There are some nice ruins, but the best ones are on the mainland and quite a haul away (not including the ferry from Coz to the mainland). If you feel adventurous and want to see ruins, purchase one of the ship's excursions. That way if any issues come up, they will ensure you get back on the ship.
Anyway.....TONS of fun things to do on Coz...now comes the hard part....you have to narrow things down! :D
Nice ruins...another great oxymoron .

Sorry---double entry
-
The real cost of a martini is what you do after your fifth one. ;)
-
Maybe Celebrity can start giving points to those who dress formal on formal nights.
-
I enjoy wearing a tux. I owe it to the women on the cruise to provide them with "eye candy."
-
Only if I'm allowed on the slides in the fun club. There's a place for children and a place for adults.

Can someone tell me the luggage weight limit going from Quito to Baltra?
I believe it's 38 lbs. checked and about 16 carry on.
But if you want to be sure check the massive threads on the Xpedition roll call site entitled "Anyone recently back"
-
Xpedition. Small, intimate, 90 passengers, all inclusive, with the most interesting itinerary...the Galapagos.
And I've done every Celebrity ship even those no longer in service.
-
I get invited every cruise now. Maybe it has to do with 40 Celebrity cruises or maybe it is because I am the world's most interesting man.
Stay thirsty my friends.
-
Very good decision.

So much on these boards is about" getting the edge"...getting the best cabin, saving a dollar, whether or not you are beaten by a chair hog,do i have to wear a tux or can I get away with jeans. Here it's about saving a few dollars on a flight or spending a few extra hours at the airport.
You have just ended a great vacation, you should be calm and relaxed. Why end it adding to the stress by sweating whether or not you can get through customs or
some other problem which could delay you?Twice in my last six trips through Ft Lauderdale
we were seriously delayed and would not have made an early flight.
That's a .333 batting average...good enough to get you into the Hall of Fame.
Isn't going on vacation about lessening stress ? Why the mental masochism ?

Have I had too many cocktails this afternoon or are you saying that kids were cut up in the specialty restaurant and relocated to the Constellation lounge ?
