I'm on the ship and it was absolutely a decision made by Princess. They said that they did this so they could go to Australia and New Zealand. They should have just closed the area while they were in those countries.

For anyone traveling on the Royal Princess! Princess Cruises have closed the Churchill Cigar Lounge and turned it into an Arcade for children. There is no longer anywhere to enjoy a cigar on the ship except up on Deck 17 AFT with all of the cigarette smokers. Absolutely terrible decision by Princess.
