  1. Has anyone taken a 3 year old on board? We are contemplating a Gramma and Grandson trip and are interested in hearing of your experience on cruising with a 3 yr old. We are thinking the end of August 2018, and he will just be 3 earlier that month. Any info on the tot programs available would be extremely helpful and appreciated. Ship and itinerary are undecided at this point, but possibly a short cruise and short visit to Disneyworld.

    Thanks,

  2. I posted this on another board, but it's applicable here too:

clear.png?emoji-confused-1977We just returned from a repositioning cruise on the Vision OTS. One stop was Costa Maya. We use to love this port, a really relaxing day at the pool and beach right at the cruise port. WOW what a change!! There were at least 4 ships there at the same time, two really big ships, one RCCL and one NCL. The port itself now reminds me of the hustle and bustle of Nassau. No more outdoor theater for folkloric shows, now everything is shops. The area was "body to body" just to walk around. The pool is still there, and if you can get to it, you're doing better than we did. What a disappointment. From now on, we have to plan to be anywhere else but in the port area. Ah, progress!

  3. We will be on the re-positioning cruise from Port Liberty, New Jersey to Galveston, TX in October of 2017. Trying to figure out the hows of getting to NJ from upstate NY and return from Galveston. Plan to fly Houston Hobby to Syracuse, NY (possibly Albany or Rochester).

Anyone with experience with HOU and airlines there?

    Thanks in advance.

  4. We are sailing on the Dawn on July 22 and have the 4 specialty restaurants plan. We would like to review the menus to decide on which restaurants to make our reservations. If you have any menus that you could post, we will be truly gratefully, and will return the favor for others when we return.

    Thanks so much.

  5. On our April 18 RCCL Independence of the Seas cruise we will be stopping in Jamaica on Thursday April 21st. We are trying to decide which Resort For A Day tour to take, either Hilton Rose Hill or Jewel Paradise Cove (adult only). Both are all inclusive and basically around the same cost. We are 3 adult women, ages between 58 and 91. Which would you choose?

  6. Well, I got the response from RCCL regarding the entertainment on the Indy. No "Grease" until july. too bad, we were really looking forward to seeing it again.

  7. I am looking for the evening entertainment for the Independence. Old reviews and info from RCCL indicate that "Grease" the musical is playing, but I can not get any other info. I think the info i have is from when the Indy was doing the 7 day, but we are on the 5 day in April.

Anyone out there on a 5 night Indy and can let us know about the evening shows? Thanks for your help.

  8. We too are looking for a RCCL Panama Canal cruise. Nothing comes up on their website. My travel agent is also searching for us. Right now we are booked on the transatlantic Jewel OTS in November, but really wanted Panama Canal instead. Family coming from NY and HI, so Panama would be a small saving on HI airfare. Also, none of us have ever done the Canal, but some have done Europe.

  9. I have read here that RCCL is offering a free beverage package. I can'[t seem to find anything about this on the RCCL website. We are booked (through Casinos at Sea) for the Allure , leaving on November 8, 2015. Any assistance with this free beverage package would be helpful.

    TIA
