  1. In reading up on our reservation at Cagney's, it says that if the reservation is booked as part of the complimentary specialty dining package, you are allowed one entree and if you chose to order an additional one, you would pay the going rate for the second entree. Does anyone know if the same is true for appetizers and side dishes? Are we allowed one item for each course of the meal and then pay for any additional selections or is the additional cost only for more than one main entree?
  2. I have a bit of a strange question. It has been suggested on these boards that when staying in an overwater bungalow, it is nice to have a floatation tube or something to relax on in the water. I purchased a couple of these for our stay at the Hilton Moorea, but something else that was suggested was to bring rope to connect yourself to the platform area so you don't float away with the current. I am wondering if there is anything to attach a hook or carabiner to or if you just wrap the rope around something. I was going to purchase this: But, I wanted to be sure that I didn't just need rope with nothing attached. Sorry for the weird question. I am just trying to wrap my brain around this one. ๐Ÿ™‚
  3. We are going to the Cook Islands and I hadn't thought about the two separate currencies - NZD and XPF. Do most (I know not all) places accept USD?
  4. Where do you recommend getting NZD's?
  5. Thank you! I have been reading only great things about Teking and haven't been able to find any feedback on the ship's tour. I liked the idea of taking the ship's tour just to be able to meet people from the ship, but I think given how great the Teking tour sounds along with recommendations like yours, I will just book with them. Thank you for always being so helpful!
  6. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Teking excursion is a go - they did meet the min requirement. I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with either of the tours and could shed some light on what they might be like. I was able to read reviews of the Teking tour, but it has been harder to find information about how others liked the PG tour.
  7. Does anyone have any experience with the tour below from PG? We booked it for a July cruise, but are thinking about switching to a Teking Snorkeling Safari Cruise. The Teking is about $50 pp cheaper, and hour longer and has 3 snorkel spots - everything else except the beach time is the same. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with either excursion that they would be willing to share? It may help us finalize our decision. Thank you in advance! Lagoon cruise with beach break AITUTAKI, COOK ISLANDS Duration: 5h00 Total : $166 Aitutaki's deep blue lagoon is considered to be one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. Part volcanic and part atoll, the island's geographical structure makes this lagoon unique. This tour will give you the opportunity to experience the best Aitutaki has to offer in the short time available during your visit. You will board your boat (types and sizes vary) and cruise through the lagoon, visiting offshore motus. At One Foot Island, you will stop for a lunch of barbecued fish, salads, and fresh fruit. After lunch, enjoy approximately 2 hours to relax or snorkel.
  8. Such great information! What is the name of the place for breakfast and lunch across from the Hilton? Also, would you mind sharing a few of the restaurants you would recommend that will pick us up from the Hilton for dinner? Thank you!!
  9. Do you think we would be able to drop our luggage off at the ship prior to boarding time and have a wander around?
  10. We sailed on the Reflection in April 2022, and are getting ready to go again this month. One of the many happy surprises when we sailed in April was at the grill by the pool they offered vegetarian hamburgers and hotdogs. Has anyone sailed on the Celebrity recently that could tell us if they are still offering both of those options at the grill? They were both delicious and I donโ€™t want to let myself think about them if it is no longer offered. Thanks!!!
  11. I have had the separate vegetarian menu on previous Celebrity Cruises in the past and have always been happy with the options. We are sailing next month and I worried with all the 2023 cutbacks that they may have eliminated the vegetarian menu. I am so happy to see that is not the case!!
  12. Fantastic! We were on the Reflection in April and they had a similar package, but with the updates in 2023 I wasn't sure. This is great to hear! Thank you for checking on that!
  13. Oh! I would love to know this also! Thank you for your reporting! We are on Reflection's Feb. 19th sailing, so I am happily following this thread!
  14. Wow! What beautiful memories! ๐Ÿ˜ I am even more excited now! We are sailing on the July 1st departure date.
  15. Ah! โ˜บ๏ธ Next time, for sure! Your responses on this board have been so helpful as I have been reading through the boards. I have no doubt being a guest on one your PG cruises would be fantastic! I don't see where you can add a ship photographer or the price for a renewal ceremony. This is all I am able to see on the PG website. Do you have any idea about how much adding a photographer would be?
