Over the last two years we have booked and payed the BOGO on day one but used it much later in the week. We have done this on Ovation, Quantum and Navigator. There has never been any difficulty in reserving for later in the week.
That has been true for us to until our last cruise on Adventure. They would not allow us to book and pay but use later in the week. This meant that we could only use one of our BOGOs as we could not get a reservation for the second night.

Its not automatic, you have to hit the link in the email. All I did and says 7 days to they confirm the status match. It might be a mess in the beginning getting all enrolled overall but it will eventually be worked out and clarified I would hope
Ours was automatic, I noticed we were suddenly Zenith when I logged into our celebrity account last night. I thought it was a mistake until I read the email announcing the merger.

Safe travels, Melody!
Safe travels to you also, Melissa! We will be in Barcelona in early November so I would love to hear about restaurants, hotel, etc.

We were just there May 17 and it was working. This was one of the few times I have seen it actually going up.
$90? Per person?😳 I would not pay more than $10 to $15pp to take my grandkids up, my husband said they could probably convince him to do $20😂.

Great picture! Your dad’s outfit made me laugh, I’m pretty sure my dad had a similar pair of pants! Which girl is you? I’m thinking the one in red shorts?
We did a lot of camping when our boys were younger as it was the only way we could afford to travel. We did primitive camping, tents, sleeping bags and no electricity.
I don’t camp now.🤣

We went to REI Saturday and got trekking poles for the hubby. We're starting to hike for Yellowstone in October (brrr) and he needed some. I still need a day pack, water bladder, and new boots (mine are at least 15 years old). Last week, we did an easy 1.3 mile trail twice. Today, we bumped up to a moderate 2.8 mile trail that didn't feel as challenging, but my calves are telling me about it. We want to build up to about 10 or so miles by October. We're going to local parks twice a week now, and are planning a couple of fall trips to the NC mountains before then.
That will be a great trip, Christy! We drove to Yellowstone from Indiana with our three sons back in 1990. No hotels, just did primitive camping for two weeks and hiked all over the park. One of our best trips ever! Yellowstone is beautiful!

Welcome home, Cynthia, sounds like you had an amazing trip!
Melody, hope these injections take care of Les’s eye problems, poor guy, he had been hit really hard with health issues! Hopefully, they will be behind him soon!
Kat, I am going to look for that cookbook, my cooking has become very boring and I feel a need to spice things up!🙂
We drove home from Charlotte on Monday and my husband found a cheap cruise going to Aruba and Curaçao. So we are currently on Adventure😂. I love the beaches in Aruba!
OOTD: Swimsuit and flip flops!

My 3 harmony cruises the cut off was high 1100s. Ship was new to texas so many that's why top heavy to get into suite lounge. One lady told me she missed the cut off by 1 point. Sorely disappointed. We had 3 weeks in a row I was on, had this all 3 weeks.
Harmony booked next oct, maybe by then the pinnacles will be less. ..note this was out of texas where not many 7 day choices.
And we did know ahead. Like I posted above you can click the link on your app where it says welcome aboard. Someone had clicked it and noticed it weeks before we boarded. They post it ahead of time.
I don’t think that is always the case, there was nothing under the welcome aboard banner regarding limited access for our current Adventure cruise but we did receive an email two days before departure telling us we would not have access.

We are missing 2blocks. We were already past 140 when they announced these would be given starting at 140 but you not not receive any for past milestones.
The second time was our Harmony cruise in September, 2019. Did not receive it on the cruise, called Royal after getting home, was told we would receive it in about 6-8 weeks. Planned to call again after the holidays but family issues and Covid gave me more important stuff to worry about. Called in late September, 2020 and discovered the 12 month rule. I think I was a week over 12 months. They did not budge on it.😂

I can’t give you any specifics about it but last July, our grandsons (ages 13, 16 , and 17) plus our son had a great time. I think it was one of the highlights of their cruise. However, we only paid $35 pp.

It’s nice to see you are all healing well and I hope this continues!
We are leaving early Friday morning to make the long drive up I95 to VA for two of Eli’s soccer games, then heading down to Charlotte on Tuesday for Gavin’s soccer game and Camie’s gymnastic meet. She scored first place in balance beam at the SC state meet in her age group so this is the regional meet which means she will be competing against 89 girls from other states. Can’t miss this!
Christy, maybe you’ll see me waving as we drive down to Charlotte area. I always wave at you and also Lois in Jacksonville when we do this trip!😂

We had a group of 8 on our Independence cruise last summer, I went straight to Chops as soon as we boarded and made reservations using our two BOGOS. No problem at all.
I don’t think you can do this in advance but I could be wrong.😂

We just got off last Saturday, most of the shows were 7 and 915 but a few nights it was 8 and 1015.
Do you use the app? If so, go to the current sailing and check the times for it.

Thank you for letting me know the "cover charge," at JR is $9.95. That doesn't sound bad, that is especially if a person is going to eat very much. This will seem trivial, but it was said the soda came with the cover charge. What was the brand? Just curious. 🙂
The cover charge on Mariner is currently $14.99, drinks not included.

So, Sherri does the Schooner bar have the variety of wines that Vintages used to have? Do you know where/which bar I should try with my wine-loving crowd?
If all else fails, we will go to Chops and buy a bottle there and drag it to wherever.
Where there's will there's a way
No, unfortunately they don’t, there is nothing like a vintages on Mariner. But we found a few we liked at the schooner bar and also Chops & Jamie’s. We like red wines and one that we have really enjoyed was only at the schooner bar, Terrazas de los Andes, a Malbec I believe from Chile.

Is this true on other ships besides Wonder? We were going to usethe Solarium bar as a meeting point for my friends/family, but not if it's too hot. That bar has good wine, I was told, since the Mariner does not have Vintages any more.
We are currently on Mariner, sitting in the Solarium at the moment😂. The windows can be opened, so we have a nice cool breeze coming through. Very pleasant.
The Solarium bar only shows a few wines on their menu and I would not describe any of them as good, only a few of them are drinkable.😂 The best wines we have found are in the specialty restaurants and at the Schooner bar.

Yes, Odyssey has a Solarium for adults 18+. Solarium has a bar and there are bars at the outside pool.

Unfortunately, you still only get 1 free wash and fold bag per cruise over 5+ nights.
Technically, it is one per Diamond in the cabin so a couple would get 2 free bags on a 5+ cruise.

Storing luggage underneath bed limitation.

I agree with you, linens/comforters have been under the bed for a long time and we still manage to get two large suitcases under the bed. Demanding and tossing it out in the hallway is just wrong. The stewards are doing what they have been told to do.
