Just heard from my TA who talked to Princess and was told the cruise I am interested in does not qualify for the promotion that expires tomorrow the 31st. I am booking the Caribbean in January 2024.

Pardon my ignorance but what is Princess CVP? I check or book on their web site then transfer to TA or have them book a new #. I have them checking on this benefit as my booking shows no confirmation of the benefit.

Anyone have information on parking at the Vancouver cruise ship terminal?

We are elite passengers and we are traveling with first timers. When checking in can we take them with us into the elite area for embarking?
Would hate to leave them behind if we don't have to.
WoW! What a response to can we take them or we would hate to leave them. Interesting perspectives but I think we will either leave on their own as they are grown adults or stay with them. We have no reason to hurry on.

You might as well invite them to the Platinum/Elite lounge, have them give you their laundry and stick with you on the priority tender.
I never thought of that, thanks

I also booked this perk, charge $00

After selecting your date and time, you are asked what which dining room you are interested in. After selecting that you go to confirm your selection and on that page your cruise payment method shows up.

Where has everyone been getting or planning on getting their Covid test before an Alaska Cruise?
Princess info has offered two suggestions. Optum and Radeas, both home tests.
I see Walgreens offers free tests.

Going through everything we need to do to get on the ship in Vancouver for an Alaskan cruise.
Seems to be not easy using the Medallion site but we are getting through it. My question is,
do we have to be tested to get back in the US? We will be driving.

We were booked with Chilkoot for the bus up/train down tour. We changed it to the City tour and round trip train to White Pass. We hoped to go to Canada, but are glad to experience the train at least.
We were looking forward to the bus trip back with stop for lunch etc. but also re-booked the city tour and train.

Am thinking of cancelling half of my EZair reservation, the flight to ship.
Anyone ever do this?

Thanx, turfguyjim at yahoo dot com if you care to reach out to me.
Jim😎
We decided on Glacier Wind in ISP for whale watching. Boat has occupancy of 6 and we sold that time out. In Skagway we are booked on a Yukon Rail and Bus Excursion with lunch on Chilkoot tours.
Have fun searching.

Nice topic Denny. We are on the cruise with you on the Grand in Sept. I have booked a brown bear excursion in Icy Straight Point but if whale watching in Sept. is better here than in Juneau, will gladly join you on this excursion. Maybe the good folks that have given advice can tell us what months they were lucky enough to score some great sightings.
Thanx, Jim😎
I looked at that excursion as it is on my bucket list to see bears feeding in a river. I THINK the excursion takes you to a bear reserve or nature walk. For whales, I have two companies in ISP I am looking at trying to compare. The ship also has an excursion with lunch about the same price as the one I am looking at. Trying to stay in a small group. We went whale watching during September in Juneau in the past in a small boat and saw plenty of humpbacks. One of the companies has a discount for a group of 6. There are 4 of us, I will let you know if we decide on that one.

You may also find much more commentary on the Alaska board as your subject matter pertains to Alaska, not Princess.
Thanks, I posted there also.

Anyone ever go on the Princess offered whale watching and lunch excursion.
Looks like a smaller boat not the large ones.

I am currently biased toward ISP. Last September we were in both ports. While the whale watching trip out of Juneau was very nice it was in ISP that we saw 90 (yes folks -- that wasn't a typo -- ninety) minutes of bubble feeding. I told my husband that I don't think we can ever do another whale watching trip as nothing in the future will match that experience.
Who did you use?

Planning a cruise in September, looking for pros and cons on Icy Straight Point or Juneau for
Whale Watching.
Thanks,

Thanks all, went to airline web site. As some of you said, depends on airline
concerning seats, costs, etc.

I booked flights from LAX to Vancouver and back in September using EzAir and am
unable to choose seats even though it is the next step. Is this common using
Princess to book flights. Tried calling Princess but it is a long wait on hold.

Coffee cards from past cruises
in Princess Cruises

I have a few coffee cards from past cruises, is Princess honoring them on future cruises if they are not completed?
