    When this was posted, I called and the agent said no sailings were cancelled.  I was suppose to leave Sunday.  She said do not believe anything on CC.  We would get an email and it would be posted on their website. We still have not received an email.  I called back 30 minutes ago and was told it was cancelled.

    Lil angels and Tracy fits, suggest going to your ncl account and seeing if you have a new cabin assignment yet, what has happened to me a couple times is I received the email that I was upgraded, but never received another email with cabin assignment, but going to ncl account yep had my new cabin no problem and credit card was charged, this happened to me two out of four of my awarded upgrades, enjoy your trips but be safe!

    Thanks, just checked and nothing has changed yet.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

    That's awesome! Congrats! I am on 3/15 Joy. I bid on the Haven Penthouse Suite with Balcony. I was trying to bid on the Haven aft Balcony today but was lockout.  I was going to bid the min for that at $600.  Let me know when you get your congrats email.

    Thank you, I just got this email and if I am reading it correctly, we got the upgrade and they just haven't finished processing it yet.  If I received it I would like to know so I can cancel the priority access that I paid for.  I have until 11:59 pm to do that. Keeping my fingers crossed!

    The plane ride was about 15 minutes. We only had two other people on our snorkel boat and had the best guide. We had time to eat lunch at a wonderful restaurant right on the beach before our flight back. We had time to shop before we went back to the boat. So worth it. The best snorkeling ever!

  7. Make sure you get insurance, and not from the cruise line.

     

    Your biggest problem will be getting to the port if the hurricane is headed that way. Airports close down way quicker than ports do. The cruise line doesn’t cancel the cruise just because the airport is closed, so you can be left figuring out how to get there if you are supposed to fly in. If the cruise isn’t canceled, your insurance won’t pay even if you couldn’t get to the port. But if you do manage to make it to port, and the cruise ends up being delayed or canceled, you’ll be able to claim on your insurance for all the costs of being stuck where you are. If your cruise is delayed coming back in with you on it, you will have extra expenses for parking, flight changes etc - again, insurance will cover those.
