Ocean Boy - Than you - finally some positives
Taglovestocruise...Yep, spot on, price was v. good and I do suffer with motion sickness. On my last cruise (I was on deck 7 on Liberty) crossing from Grand Cayman to Cozumel was pretty rough and my bathroom knew about it, took me a day to recover.

Im on Deck 3 also on an interior cabin. I cannot find anyone to advise on deck 3 and believe me, Ive asked lol.
Im mid ship so the casino is above me but as its carpeted I shouldnt get much noise
Ive establish I'll be closer to the exits when entering & leaving the ship (apparently)
Lifts will mostly be empty when we get on :-)
I have the dreaded motion/sea sickness - so I will be all good on deck 3
You may have sailed by now so what was your experience.... please do tell!

Im UK based and ive already booked and cancelled my drinks package twice for my upcoming cruise in November when I saw better offers

Morning
Ive just noted according to deck plans that the casino is right above my interior cabin on Allure.
Just wondered whether this may be something to keep us awake at night :o
Any advice please?

OK thanks Guys.
Seems the malls are my best bet but still the issue of what to do with bags. I understand that RCCL have a bag drop off & check in at MIA but not for international flights.......bummer :(
I will continue to search

Just planning my "To Do" lists for my upcoming November Cruise.
Im looking at http://www.cruisetimetables.com/visitingstthomasusvirginislands-29nov2017.html and can someone just help me out, although I see 10 entries on this date, is it 4 ships in port on 29th Nov? Is this a reputable website for this info?
Im basing that off the name of the ship. At first I thought there were 10 ships in port and I was thinking thats gonna be a bit busy lol

Phew.......thanks guys. I was beginning to think it was just me on that whole deck as no one mentions it lol
Appreciate the time you have both taken to respond :)

Hello
I wondered if any of the deck experts can tell me if they have ever entered deck 3 and what its like. Does it take ages to get to the top, is it far away from everything?
I chose it because I suffer with sea sickness (its a curse as I love water) and i was told go lower and go mid ship so I went for it but when i read threads about decks and best decks, deck 3 rarely gets mentioned. I feel like i'm gonna be on my own down there lol. I have an interior cabin. Id love a view or balcony but I just cant afford it right now :(
I had interior on Liberty, I was slighty higher up and I was a bit woozy at times - the crossing from Gran Cayman to Cozumel overnight had my guts up all night it was that rough!:o. Anyway......I digress.
Any info of deck 3 appreciated. Also, I wondered if the room is forward facing? If i sit on a train backwards against the direction of travel its not a pretty sight I can tell you.

Still.......no-one speaks of deck 3. #TheForgotten lol

Actually, i just found this which mentions shopping but is it good shopping? like a mall or something, does anyone know?

Good Day
We disembark our cruise around 8am on 25th Nov in FLL. We (Hubby & I) would like to do some last minute shopping before heading back to the UK.
I was wondering are the best malls near the port or near MIA? Also, the question of what I do with my luggage comes to mind. Ive looked on the Royal Caribbean excursions and cant seem to find a tour which fits the bill post cruise and keeps your luggage.
Can anyone offer suggestions please.
Many thanks
Dual :)

I booked a deluxe drinks package for £311 and also the Voom for 1 device for £68 (£379) for 7 days back in march for my Nov 2017 cruise on Allure.
I noted this deal just today meaning I get the same 2 items but now for £301. Thats a huge saving by any standards and cant be sniffed at!
I am currently on the RCL website looking where to cancel my old package so I can purchase the new one.

Can anyone tell me what its like on Deck 3 on Allure.....I feel like im going to be in the abyss lol. I hear no one speak of it.
I have gone for an interior cabin just because we are not "roomies". Just a place to lay our head, wash and dress as long as its clean and as we are on a budget we figured we'd rather spend on dining, drinking, seeing etc.
Am I selling myself short here do you think? Any advice. Im sure its like another £300-400 for a room with a view.
Thank you

Hello everyone :)
Im cruising in November on Allure. I booked mine and my hubbys deluxe drink package, and separately a Voom package for one device back in March. We were just going to share the log in at various times.
Low and behold I log into my cruise planner today to consider some specialty dining options and I see that I can get the deluxe drinks package including Voom for one device for cheaper than I got just a drinks package back in March when I booked .
So now I want to cancel and rebook the to get the better deal as it just makes sense. But......I cant see where to cancel , can anyone help me :o. Do I have to call to cancel or can I do it online?
Thank you ;)

I also have natural hair - I gave up on relaxers 12 years ago when one badly damaged my hair to the point where I lost 50% of my hair - I shed constantly and my scalp was rip roaring sore for months afterwards.
Anyway - fully recovered now but I would never put any chemicals in my hair again.
I use Mixed Chicks (dont be fooled by the name) Its perfect for natural hair for women of colour - just use the leave in conditioner on wet hair and leave it to dry naturally. I use it every day sometimes twice a day - will not make your hair frizzy, it defines natural curls. There is loads of info on the web about Mixed Chicks. There are a few famous sisters who also use Mixed Chicks products.
I also agree Braids could be useful but they can get a bit messy if you are in and out of water all the time.
Always fly the day before!!!
