Oh my goodness--yes the cabin number would help. :D :D Cabin 7584. I guess I truly need a vacation!!
-
Hi everyone! Has anyone stayed in this cabin and has a picture of it, or know where I can see it online? Just trying to see just how "obstructed" it really is. Thanks!

If someone will tell me how to delete this thread I will be glad to do that. I was unaware there were so many other threads on this topic. While I knew there were some I didn't realize there seemed to be so many. I just thought it would be a fun discussion.
Thanks for asking this actually. There is always someone new who doesn't know that this has been asked before, or will appreciate not having to search for the answer.

I just booked this for next March. I will be aboard on my birthday. :) Can't wait. Thanks for your helpful review.

Hello everyone. This has probably been discussed ad nauseam, but I couldnt find much info using search. What's the benefit of booking directly with RCCL vs an agent? And why do people transfer the booking from one to the other? I havent been on RCCL in years and Im anxious to get back! :D:D

Cool, thanks!

Is there a specific website that lists every amenity the ship would have in a non-cumbersome way? Carnival's website definitely isnt it. For example, if you can quickly see if it has Guys burgers, how many hot tubs, etc.
-
Thanks! I did see earlier that it lets you combine points with your own money and it basically equates to a 10% discount on the card. Is this what everyone is referring to? Or can you just redeem points outright for a gift card?
-
Hi all--I havent been on here in a while. Could you please explain how to get the Carnival gift cards through Verizon? Is is the Verizon Smart Rewards with Verizon Wireless?
-
Is this doable? We will be there from 1030 am until 930 pm. Would like to see the old city (Walled City I think it's called,)or anything else historic, a nice beach, and get some good Colombian food. We speak little Spanish.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks clarea! How much do they typically run?
-
With the new dining options added after drydock last year, what is free and what must you pay for? Thanks
-
Cruiser21, Im not past it yet, but it looks like I may need a week or so extra. I plan to call RCCL and ask, but I just wanted to get feedback here.
-
Has anyone ever gotten an extension to pay after the final payment deadline?
-
Thank you. I booked with RCCL. I went back and saw it. Thanks!

Hello. I'm new to RCCL and I'm trying to pay my final balance online. I've created a "My Cruises" account but I don't see a payment option. What am I missing? Thanks
-
Ahhh...I see, good info, thanks! Hoopster95, yes, the Vision out of Colon. SamFritz, this is our very first RCI cruise, so I was unaware that this class of ship has limited balconies. Good info. cruzinlady1947-WOW!! :D

Hi all, has anyone ever seen a balcony on RCI for under $600? Do they ever drop that low? I'm almost at final payment so I am curious of my upgrade chances. :D:D
-
Ah! Gotcha, thanks.
-
I booked my first RCI cruise today. (YEY!) The rep told me that if the price drops they will reduce what I owe up until final payment, and after that I can upgrade if the opportunity arises. I see some posts on here about OBC, but how do you get it if RCI does the price drops this way?
-
Thanks guys for letting me know this. I have no problem pre-paying, I just didn't want to be forced if that's not the rule. Just getting used to the little nuances between RCI and Carnival.
-
New to RCI, and I booked the Vision out of Colon, Panama next April. I can't wait! However, the rep on the phone advised that I must pre-pay gratuities because the only dining option left at this time is your time dining. I went along with it, but it just sounded odd. Is this the norm?
-
I see, thanks for putting it so clearly and eloquently. I was considering booking through my membership club for perks, but I think I will call RCI directly.

Thanks for the link! I couldn't find anything on Youtube--but thanks to the person who posted that suggestion. So this photo is of the Brilliance, it will be the same on Jewel?
