Good morning
Yep I know where the Hampton is:) can't wait only two more thursday's:)
-
Never did the shuttle at the radisson last time arranged a van we had like 8 people. I think if you do the cruise package at the radisson it's free but only leaves at certain times.
Scott at coco beach taxi when I asked him a suggestion for price since it's pay what you want suggested 4 dollars per person for the two of us which I thought was very reasonable.
I know you can call the radisson a pre-reserve the shuttle (guess I should make sure you are at the radisson right?)
-
Beth(bettycruiser) said she read somewhere that there not letting you in before 11 am at port canaveral so that's what I'm going by unless someone on here know's different??
I'm going with the taxi I believe you can reserve ahead of time which I probable will do a few days before we head down

Thanks Debbie we went with a large group to Rusty's last time was thinking something different so maybe Fishlips.
If we do Zachery's it would be breakfast and it's close

Ok I'm trying to decide heard good things about all three Rusty's, Fishlips or Grills decisions decisions:D.
Shirley talked to the folks at coco beach taxi good people we have a 11am boarding for the Disney Dream heard you can't even get in the port area till 11 so will set up a 10:50 or 11 am pick up time thanks for the tip on them:)
Also that morning since we will have time do you know anything about Zachery's? I believe it's next to the Radisson? or any other walk able places near by?
Only 17 more days:)

Ok hopefully this isn't a stupid question but wanted to make sure the pay what you want can you do this from your hotel to the port??
-
Hey there can't wait till the 22nd going on the Dream and staying at the radisson pre-cruise. We decide to cab it over since we got the first boarding time for the Dream wll look at the cab company you mentioned.
My question is we are looking at two places to eat at either Rusty's or Grill's is there a big difference between the two??
Thanks

Hi Tom, yes PIB is really nice! I work in downtown CLE, live a little south of the city in a suburb.
:)
Been to the hard rock and the rock and roll hall of fame had some other friends that used to live in I think westlake??
-
Hopefully this will give you an idea of location:
The Sheraton is at least a half mile south of Las Olas, past the Courtyard, Bahia Cabana, and Bahia Mar hotels.
Lulu's is about 8 blocks north on A1A.
Primante's of Pittsburgh is about 1.75 miles north on A1A.
Mango's is still open.:)
Perfect thanks all within walking distance if were not on the water taxi:) but will still probable head over to the 17th street area like southport and waxy o'connors.
I really love Fort Lauderdale we always spend a few days before and after the cruise down there if I lived anywhere down there it would be in that area.
We used to stay at the Hyatt I think on the 17th street just on the other side of the causway it had a revolving bar at the top great place to watch the ships:)
-
You're welcome, enjoy it, it's a good place to eat by the beach!!
I see your from cleveland I have a good friend that lives there:) got to love Put-in-Bay:) from what I remember:D:o and off course dedar point

I've been done there many times it's by far my favorite port love the water taxi. Just making sure ,we are at the sheraton on seabreeze we should be pretty close to my favorite watering hole Lulu's am I correct.
Also I remember a deli or pizza place down there run by guys from I think philly?? do you know what place I'm talking about sorry it's a vag description:o
Also is Mango's still open on Las Olas?
Thanks ahead of time
P.S. I'm sure you can tell all my places are along water taxi stops:D also like shooters and southport oyster bar I think the name is?:)

The folks living down there might know better but shared rides seem to be cheap I think so something like
or

It was a great trip. 4 planes, 10 trains, several busses, many cabs, one ship, and many miles on foot. Tired! Spain was amazing and we got to see several Picasso's. In Italy we saw the statue of David. I did not know it is 17' tall. We also saw the Leaning Tower of Piza and it was amazing. In Rome we saw all the sights including the Vatican. My favorite was Corsica a small town off the coast of France. Now where to go next? I think we will stay closer to home. Maybe a road trip through New England in the fall!
Nice to be home!
Preston did you leave out of Barcelona??

I remember on time at Disney the love bugs were out boy are they a pain:mad:

Hello folks
Just a quick question I believe we have before but it's been a few years. My question is we are hopefully staying at the Renaissance hotel pretty much across from the port we will on have one bag each and are on the Ruby princess which I believe docks at the end closest to 17th street can you still walk out of the port area??
Not sure if the rules have changed or not
Thank you
Tom

Just might do that love a good burrito and love margarita's
-
ok thanks will probable stick to the port canaveral area
-
I have friends that told me about a place called Dixie crossroads is that any good??
Thanks
-
Is it because of the celebration??
-
And a great port it is that and Fort lauderdale are my two favorite's:)
-
I didn't get the jacuzzi room though it's only one night and have some friends meeting us there so we probable won't be at the room much except for a nights sleep before the cruise
-
This seems like an illogical question to me. Why not just book the room now?
I like to pay for it with my visa check card so it comes out of my checking I try not to use credit cards is all. I booked a room:)

It seems most response say yes 11 am sometimes a little earlier but it's a crap shoot. I'd hope it does open a little earlier with over 10,000 people hitting and leaving the port that day oops sorry on the day I'm getting there that is
