A short clip of our evening live music in the pub with Pablo Okubi (The video does not do his voice justice) - highly recommend looking him up: IMG_2079.MOV -

Evening Entertainment: 1977 - A Thrilling Adventure on Ice The seas were a bit rough, but these talented performers did exceptionally well! TIP: I thought sitting on the right edge of the seats facing the ice would be the best space - not so, as the skaters often stand in the corner, which blocked my view. Sitting right in the center would be better. Or, DH and DS thought the seats on the sides in the very back were the best. I usually try to choose a seat where I would not distract with my camera, which is why the edge is usually good. Some Views of the Show, Drones and All! Starting with my favorite part - a short video clip of the hula hoop slinky: DSCN2871.MOV Drones: -

On that helpful note from @BecciBoo - here are the better views of the wings: TIP: Portside (left) has the see through glass bottom that BecciBoo posted above - not for the faint of heart: View of the helipad from the portside wing: Entrance to the portside wing: TIP: Starboard (right) has the telescope: -

A few Ship Views: The Dunes and Ultimate Abyss: TIP: There is nice seating by the flow riders that look out on the aft wake also - just at a much higher angle. Also, the Wipeout Bar is not near as busy as the pool bars. There is also wheelchair access to this area (up a ramp on Starboard/right side of the ship): -

TIP: If you have mobility challenges and you want to go to the lower deck of the Solarium, there is a wheelchair ramp with a very slight angle to enter safely - leading directly to the lower deck of the Solarium. This is also where you can go out on the 'wings' over the bridge (I will get a better photo of the 'wings' later: Deck 14 forward (either side will work - starboard and port have the same): Slight ramp with railings: Automatic sliding door: View of the bridge wing from deck 15 - I will take better view pictures to post later this week: -

TIP: Don't miss the campfire cookie at Playmakers. When I saw reviews that this is a "MUST HAVE", I did not believe it. Now I do! It really is delicious. DS and I will share another one soon! -

My View: Day 4 - At sea: Grateful for a healthy body that can walk-run on the track, and catch the sunrise... I read somewhere, "Exercise is an expression of gratitude for what your body can do." -

Happy Thanksgiving! I know I am falling behind 😄 We had such amazing days in Aruba and Curaçao that I have not had much time to organize pictures. The good news is, we have 2 sea days ahead and I will have time to 'catch up' some. Reminder: With only 2 days to go, please post your requests as soon as possible so that I can try to find answers and/or take requested pictures for you. -

Thanks @h20skibum! I did not even know it posted with the PDF version. @SConnolly, that is probably the most clear version of the shows, since the photos seem to be posting at a lower quality than the originals. -

It is the Nikon P900... I really want to upgrade but this one is still so good, I can't justify it. 😄 -

After dinner entertainment in the pub: I am hesitant to post this, because we love our space in the pub and it is packed every night... Pablo is excellent! Most of the songs he performs are better than the original. Amazing talent!! He sings a lot of 70's and 80's songs. -

Dinner in Solarium Bistro: TIP: Most of the food options repeat every night. There is one station to the right that has some variety, such as two kinds of soup (same as in MDR and Windjammer), some pasta, a veggie, and meat/fish. I wish I had known, as the pumpkin from the first night looked delicious. Our selections for the evening included Lentil Soup, Chicken, Salad, etc. The desserts were very good too, but we forgot to take a picture 🙂 -

Some views of Labadee from the ship: TIP: For those who are concerned about safety in Labadee - you can see in these pictures that it is quite isolated from the rest of Haiti, with mountains and cliffs. I feel more safe in this port than most other Caribbean ports, as only a select "few" locals are allowed on Labadee. Small village east of Labadee: Views of Columbus Cove and Arawak: The dragon coaster: -

My New Favorite View: TIP: When you get off the ship, turn left onto the small mountain path just past the sinks where you can wash hands. The pink arrow indicates the spot where this photo was taken: A little further up the path: -

For this visit, I decided to swim at the northern beach - just east of the Beach Loungers at number 19. It was much more quiet than Columbus Cove. I really like how they incorporate Haitian culture everywhere... Look at the smoking area with the pipe-smoking statue: -

Thanks @FionaMG and @bonsai3s for your helpful contributions! 🙂 @BecciBoo - I did not hear it this time. If I remember correclty, the tide has to be just right - the waves did not break as high as they did the previous time I was in this area. Thanks for posting the video! -

I will keep this in mind when I do my review and take pictures of Aruba and Curacao. Labadee has many 'easy' paths, if you want to get off and just listen to some of the locals make music. There are also many shaded areas if you want to watch the zipliners and listen to the ocean. 🙂
