I believe we are there 12-8

Oh!   Then Cable Beach or Breezes is definitely doable for 4 hours including transportation.     Junkanoo is nice, but is small and can get crowded.

  2. I dont think people should be away from chairs more than 30-45 minutes.  I wake up EARLY for mine and get a prime spot and I eat my breakfast outside in my chair.  I even take a nap to recover from waking up early.    However, I personally enjoy watching people who sleep in to 11am on a sea day get all upset that the premium pool side spots are all taken by folks who got up early.   There are plenty of chairs on the upper decks.   If you want poolside, dont sleep in.   If you want to sleep in, dont expect poolside.

Spectacular.  My fam and I swim on a cruise (not lay out), so we only need 1 chair for all 6 of our stuff, and we just find one when we arrive at the pools.  It would be nice to not struggle to find a chair.

just dont swim for longer than 30mins else... GONE!

Ditto here for our Odyssey in Ft. Lauderdale.  About the same amount of time and we booked Holiday Inn Express right near the Port, because they also provided shuttle from Airport.  Such a mixup because most hotels use shuttle venders and nothing gets done efficiently...ended up in a taxi cuz the hotel just couldn't get it to work after multiple phone calls.  Nightmare...never again...next time just a taxi.  Our other go to in FtL is Renaissance with a taxi to port.

Taxi/Uber is so easy in FLL and there are so many.  Our go to is Marriott Fort Lauderdale Harbor Beach Resort with a quick taxi to port.

For the most part, no.  The exception to the multiple entree question is Giovanni's.  Because they like to serve "family style", you can usually get multiple entrees there, but generally, not at the other specialty restaurants.

Ironically, the Royal Caribbean website describes the unlimited dining plan as being able to get MULTIPLE ENTREES...

We will be going with our extended family on the Oasis in April.  We just received an email saying that it is possible to make show reservations online in the cruise planner.  Within just a few hours of receiving this email members of our party tried to make reservations and found that they mostly sold out.  Does this mean that we are out of luck or is it possible that they are holding some in reserve for onboard booking?  This is our first time on RCCL and are hoping this is not a sign of things to come on cruising a mega-ship.

When you say you JUST received the email, can you please tell me the date and time on the email and the date of your cruise?  I want to plan to access the show reservations for my June cruise on the first second available.   Thanks.

  7. 1.  I want my room "CLEANED" with bathroom cleaned, toiletries attended to, fresh linens/towels and garbage removed 1x/day is fine.  Morning ok for me.

    2.  I want my bed made and dirty towels replaced again in the evening.

If I am paying same/more than before, and tipping same/more than before, then 1 cleaning and 1 additional "freshen up linens" is not too much to ask.
