I know taxis can enter the port area in Klong Toey, Bangkok, where Azamara dock.
But are Grab vehicles allowed into the same area or are they restricted ?

Consensus of onboard rumors, if that can be considered to be a reliable source, is that they will tell us when we're in Sydney, so probably March 1, if they're going to change the itinerary.
Great, we board in Sydney for a few legs !

Silversea and Crystal have also not cancelled Red Sea itineraries, to similar consternation from their passengers.
And as it stands Royal Caribbean still have Serenade doing their World Cruise thru the Suez in May.

Onward overnights in Sydney as part of the World Cruise. I know Azamara dock west of the City. (Circular Quay).
Will Azamara provide a shuttle by bus/boat into the Sydney City Centre ?

Our Azamara Cruise stops in Koror in March, and the tours are all focussed on snorkelling or diving,
We would like to do a circle island tour and would appreciate any suggestions (the other option being to hire a car, which I’m a bit nervous about).
Really appreciate any advice

Don't do it from Kona. Visiting VNP only makes sense from the Hilo side.
But our ship doesn’t stop in Hilo sadly (Transpacific Vancouver to Australia)

We have a day in Kona on our Transpacific next month, and I was hoping to visit the Volcanoes National Park hiring a car.
Given the tendering and travel time I have been advised not to do this.
Has anyone managed this with a car rental ?
(we have a total of 13 hours in port, but wanted to allow two hours either side to get to the car rental and tender )

I met a family on Celebrity relocating back
from Australia to Canada on the 28 day crossing. They mentioned that the cruise was cheaper than flying with all their baggage !

Thanks to those that provided the link as I never got the email offering Power Up Points. (Previously I’ve got most of them I think).
I did get a invite to a Edge Seminar last Monday - no mention of points and no option to enter my Captains Club number.
I am an Australian member, wonder if it’s the same Seminar and wonder if Aussies are being targeting differently.

Looking forward to my cruise B2B Australia to Hawaii, and then onto Canada this month.
My understanding is we can bring on a second bottle of wine each on embarking, which may well be held by the Ship til the end result of the second cruise.
My query is does this also apply to sodas, can we bring in on our allowance for both cruises -?
(total twelve bottles per person)
I don’t really want to waste precious time in Hawaii grocery shopping

Hi Mark - yea we have added the back to back
will have the ship ready for you 😊

Except website currently unavailable for the revamp this week. I assume they are finally migrating away from the Royal/Celebrity programme.

4000 passengers. Good luck.
Previously did this crossing and I recall lots of local tours available in Bora Bora on arrival hence I am asking about the other ports

I thought they did not allowed ship over 3500 passengers anymore in Papeete?
Numbers limited in Bora Bora only I believe, so we are not stopping there

Will be on Quantum later this year stopping in Papeete, Moorea and Raiatea.
Just wondering if it will be possible to buy tours from local operators when we arrive at the pier.
I guess currency will be XPF or USD - any idea if they will take credit card ?
Thanks for any recent advice

We are Matt and Juan, looking forward to lots of sea days of this Transpacific.
Very tempted to stay on board for the next leg to Vancouver 🙂

Need some urgent help choosing my cabin today.
Anyone with knowledge of Cabin 6542 - partially obstructed but worried about possible smoke from the deck below.
Was also offered a cabin on deck 13 in a connecting room - worried about possible noisy neighbours (as had that experience previously).
Really appreciate any kind advice

Azamara has been saying Feb. 1, but I think @downundermatt is probably right that it means Jan. 31. [And they mean the cruise ends by that date...]
Thankfully my Antarctica cruise on Azamara finishes 24 January, so I have been keeping a watchful eye on this

Can you please refresh my memory...
What is the last day to cruise b/4 Azamara & Celebrity separate completely?
Still attempting to sneak in a last minute Azamara cruise, prior to the separation.
Thanks! My understanding is you can still accrue points between brands, but your cruise needs to be completed before the end of January 2023 when the agreement finally concludes.

Like many I am no fan of Celebrity IT.
But I’m sure even Celebrity have a programme that could automatically update points without staff intervention on a weekday.
Or may I am being a tad optimistic

Looking at a Transatlantic (on Royal) and the ship is going into a five yearly Dry Dock for a month immediately after the cruise.
Just wondering of I should have any concerns - thinking maybe they will run down supplies or services or staff could be winding down - on the upside their could be benefits ?thanks for any insight

Great to do a Transatlantic in August, and really excited about the stops in Greenland.
