  1. Has anyone successfully booked a Europe 2024 kids sail free promotion? When you follow the link on the website our sailing shows up.  However when I go through a fake booking online it doesn't and when I call they say it doesn't apply.  I asked what sailings it does apply to and they say they can't tell me. I have called 3 separate times.  If you have had success, what is your sailing and was the promotion applied automatically or did you have to call?

  2. Does anyone know what the 3rd and 4th passenger bed configuration might be on the Sun Princess? We are looking at a balcony, mini-suite or cabana mini-suite.  We will have two children sailing with us.  Princess told me today that the configuration for all 4 passenger cabins is twin beds with bunks over the twins.  I find this very hard to believe so hoping someone here  knows better. 🙂

  3. We have a party of 7 and would like to do a cabana for a sea day.  What do we book?

If you book a cabana is it really only half and you are paired with another group without privacy between the two seating area?

Does anyone have good pictures of what area was yours when you reserved?

    Thanks!

We haven’t sailed yet but I booked hubby and I in a 4 person balcony room so everyone will sleep in the balcony room and the inside room will be our closet and bathroom 😂

Unlike Royal, Celebrity doesn’t charge more for the 3/4 passenger cabins so there is no price difference if there is only 2 passengers booked 👍🏼 I believe they allow this as long as there is availability

Thanks! I am going to look into this strategy!

Unfortunately, I was told no by everyone I spoke to.

I ended up booking a balcony room with the AI for myself and hubby and kids across the hall in an inside with the cruise only rate (age 7 and 3). This still worked out cheaper than 4 in a cabin with AI. I also priced out booking 4 in a cabin (cruise only rate) and then adding drink pkg etc and that came up the highest.

At least with two cabins we will have two bathrooms which is a plus 👍🏼

If you don't mind my asking - what was your sleeping arrangement? Our kids are the same age. Thanks!

  6. Yes, you can definitely do that but you will be paying a lot more than the all included rate. It also bothers me that hey are charging the same price in the all included rate for children with the zero proof package.

I was hoping someone had success with escalating the matter to a manager.  I understand why they would not remove it for adult 3rd and 4th passengers but not for small children.

  7. We are trying to book a cruise for winter 2024 with 4 passengers in a cabin (2 adults and 2 small children).  Has anyone been successful in getting the all included package applied ONLY to passengers 1 & 2 like every other cruise line including Princess and Holland America? We would like the package for ourselves but are not going to pay for it for our small children that do not drink anything besides water and milk and/or use the internet.

  8. Does Club HAL operate on all cruises? We are planning a 7 night northern European cruise for June 2024 on Nieuw Statendam to Iceland and Norway.  We will have our 4 and 7 year old sons with us.

For those of you that have cruised recently with kids - what has your experience with Club HAL been? Any pics of the daily hours or programming would be greatly appreciated!

We have cruised Celebrity, Disney and Royal with our kids who have been on 8 cruises and they have enjoyed each experience as much as the next regardless of cruise line. These lines do not offer the itineraries that we want so no need to suggest that we cruise those instead 🙂 My husband and I have cruised HAL 3 times before kids and feel like we would enjoy the experience with our family - provided the kids club will be open for a few hours here and there.

    Thanks!

I was on Deck 4 (4135) for an 18 day crossing from Copenhagen to Boston. I liked the location, but we were near the quarantine cabins. It was pretty quiet... it was a huge balcony, but was partially obstructed.

We are looking at this cabin for a European cruise next summer for a family of 4.  I have seen some pictures and it does not look like there is a bed in the ceiling. Is that correct?

  10. Has anyone rented a beyond cabana? A few questions:

1.) do you get to pick your spot?

    2.) was the service good?

    3.) are the couches comfy?

4.) is there a weekly rental or reduced fee on port days? I am seeing $500 for a full cabana on all days of our Jan Beyond cruise

would love your experiences and pictures!

    Thanks!

  11. Does anyone has recent kids club and/or weekly family program schedules for any ships?

We cruised celebrity a few years ago with our 2 year old and we received information on all family activities for the week in our cabin on embarkation day.  I am looking to see what stuff is currently offered to see if want to try Celebrity again with our 4 and 6 year old.

Also would love experience from anyone that has recently sent kids of this age to the kids club and how your kids liked it.

    Thanks!
