We jumped on this cruise as soon as we knew about it. The only way we found out about it was on CC. Celebrity doesn't have a brochure for the new itinerary. We are wondering how people are finding out about it unless they go on CC.
Go to the Celebrity site and sign up for email updates on special promos. You won't miss anything.

Can't please everybody, every time. You should probalby upgrade to the upper tier lines if that's the kind of experience you're looking for and can afford.
-
This is pretty much Economics 101. Price it and the value will take care of the rest. Apparently, there are a lot of us American contintentals who value our time and love our part of the globe.
-
Generally speaking, the wines by the glass available on the Classic package are very limited, and pretty lower shelf. Upgrading to Premium is not that expensive and will give you much more selection and better quality. As suggested, you can wait and upgrade on board if you are not satisfied with the Classic. It's simple to do. Just ask any bartender or server ant they will take care of you in a few minutes.

These are the types of problems I would love to deal with. "Honey, we've got too much free money that we have to spend on this cruise. Any ideas"
-
Wow....if you can get a rebate check for all that OBC, which you really don't need as you say, this cruise will be like stealing.
-
Yes, that cabin is on the slant and has a larger-than-standard balcony. The balconies on each side of yours are even larger. Enjoy.
-
I may not always get the most OBC, but I still feel like I'm always getting a good deal directly with Celebrity. I can reach them by phone 24/7 to ask questions or make changes, there's no penalty to cancel before final payment, and the reps for the most part are professional and knowledgeable about their product. For this Equinox promo, for the Nov 6 sailing, I got the lowest price I've seen for C2, at C3 price (less than 1A or 2A), got the $125 each loyalty discount, got the fantastic Go Best 4 perks free, and only put up the reduced 50% deposit. I'm a happy camper (or cruiser).

6157 is a nice cabin. It's on the forward slant, port side, facing aft, with a balcony a little larger than standard cabins. It's also conveniently located by the forward stairs/elevators.
-
I wouldn't worry about the dining status when you book. We were "wait listed" for anytime dining on this cruise when we booked last week, and it only took three or four days to clear and the reservation when I now check My Celebrity now shows anytime dining. Same thing hapenned on our last two cruises as well. Love anytime!

Yes, the cabins are the same size, but they're not in the same location; hence the difference in price and value. Let's look at this another way: if you're talking about a difference of 600 Euros for a group of three, that's 200 each. For a fourteen day cruise, that's roughly 14 Euros a day. Is it worth that much to have what may be a more desirable cabin location? When you figure the total cost of the cruise, that's a pittance, and you will also get the 2 x 14 = 28 extra Captains Club points if that means anything. Granted, the other "perks" are not worth much, but for 14 Euros a day, I, for one, think i would "splurge."
-
A lot comes down to the cabin choices available. There are some very good C2 locations, and the C1's will get you the coveted aft cabins on upper decks. Even the C3's are good, but with the free Captains Club category upgrade, you can get a C2 for C3 price. If you're comparing C class to a basic Veranda guarantee, with no idea where you will get assigned, it may well be worth the difference in cost. If you can snag maybe a 1A or 2A for that much less, than the "upgrade" is probably not worth it.
-
As stated by others, those cabins and balconies are basically the same. The two shown at the extreme aft have a slightly bigger balcony, but require a long walk to stairs and elevators. Many prefer the convenience of being more centrally located to the two sets of stairs/elevators. Take a look at the deck plan for that deck and pick a spot. You really can't make a mistake.

This Equinox Endless Summer promo is for Caribbean itineraries on Equinox for dates between April 4, 2017 and November 6, 2017. The promo expires August 31. It's an incentive to fill cabins for these recently scheduled itineraries to replace previously scheduled Mediterranean itineraries for that same period.
-
That's a fine cabin, midship between the two sets of stairs/evevators. Don't worry about the lifeboats. They are somewhat of an obstruction (though not a big deal) for cabins on deck 6, but you will not be bothered. Enjoy.
-
Agree, CruiseRaider. We don't usually schedule a Caribbean cruise until later in the winter, after the holiday rush and when the cold weather settles in. However, this deal was literally too good to pass up. Love Equinox, and love this southern itinerary as well.
-
The current Captains Club loyalty discount, with this promo, is $125 per person.

Very pleased to take advantage today of the current Endless Summer promo Celebrity is offering to book the recently rescheduled itineraries on Equinox from the Med to the Caribbean in 2017. Jumped on the last one, a 10 day Southern Caribbean leaving Miami on November 6, 2017. The rates are low to begin with, but the extras are what make this deal incredible. Start with the usual one category pricing break (I booked C2 at C3 rate and nailed one of the first cabins off the slant on Sky Deck with the extended balcony). Then take advantage of a $125 loyalty discount each. Then add on the included Go Best offer with this promo for OV and above and get free Premium Alcohol Package, Prepaid Gratiuties, $150 OBC, and Free Internet Package, all for both passengers. Then cut the deposit in half and only put down $450. All in all, that's an amazing deal. Plus, I love the itinerary, with Grand Cayman, Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, and Key West, with four Sea Days. Life is good!
-
Grab that deal before it's gone. That is like stealing!
-
Read more closely, and I think you'll agree the OP is looking at a new Equinox Caribbean itinerary, while Reflection is still in the Med.
-
These deals on the newly announced Equinox Caribbean itineraries for 2016 are very attractive with good price points and all 4 perks included. Jump on it. Cabins are filling fast.
-
Best part of C1 is the excellent aft cabin locations. The extra 2 Captains Club points per day is another bonus.
-
Glad you had such a pleasant experience, and thanks for sharing your insights. Reviews like this, as opposed to the "bitching threads," are what make this site worthwhile.

That's a standard balcony cabin, port side, conveniently located close to the forward elevators and stairwells. Nothing not to like....enjoy.
