  1. hahaha!! So, I went on the Royal Caribbean website and searched "formal night". It came back with "about 1,320,000,00 results" WHAT?? This was the first response to my question, What is the dress code onboard all ships? | Royal Caribbean Cruises https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/generic-onboard-dress-code Formal nights. Think of our formal dress code as a night out in your best black-tie look — suits and ties, tuxedos, cocktail dresses or evening gowns are all acceptable options. There can be 1 to 4 formal nights during a sailing and is at the ship’s discretion. Our Chef’s Table dining experience also enforces a formal dress code policy. It did answer my question. Wherever you are coming from and going to have a safe trip.
  2. Sorry, my mistake the internet center is not free internet. I forgot that with the number of cruises we had with Princess we got X number of minutes free.
  3. This isn't customs but a TSA incident. My wife's brothers-in-law's father passed away here in the Cleveland area. They had to come up from Florida for the funeral. Well, his father was a retired Amry artillery officer and had a few spent casings around his office. His one grandson thought they looked pretty cool and not telling his parents placed one in his backpack. You can guess what happened when the backpack went through the X-ray machine. The brother-in-law wasn't put on the no-fly list, but for a few years he did get extra screening going through security.
  4. All the Princess ships I have been on have an area with at least a dozen or more computers that you can use without an internet package. It gets crowded sometimes, but I don't see why you couldn't log in to your information on the RCI website for your upcoming cruise.
  5. Thanks everyone. Yes, I meant VOOM not ZOOM.
  6. Is ZOOM worth the price? Can you do Facetime or Google Duo? Would like to keep in touch with the grandkids.
  7. A BOGO wouldn't do me any good since I am sailing solo. Anyone remember how much a beer costs onboard?
  8. Since I only drink beer and not liquor the $77.99 + 18% gratuity seems a bit steep. I would have to drink at least 8 beers a day and maybe a few soft drinks to make it pay for itself. That's if the beer sells for $8 a bottle/can.
  9. Yes, you can purchase season passes now for Cedar Point. I was trying to find what a day pass cost that included the water park. Right now the gold pass is $125 and includes access to the water park for 2023. It also includes parking, but they took away early entry.
  10. I can't get prices for Cedar Point tickets because we are in HalloWeekends and those prices and season ticket prices only come up. But Michigan's Adventure is cheaper than Cedar Point prices.
  11. LuCruise, I'm on the same cruise. I talked with an RC rep and was told that you can get off the ship and enjoy Oasis Lagoon, Harbor Beach and Chill Island at no cost. Plus Chill Grill, Skipper's Grill and Captain Jack's. I thought she said Captain Jill's Galleon also. And yes, there are going to be a lot of people at CocoCay.
  12. So, if you want to observe formal night is it both sea days or only one?
  13. Thanks Kellie. Not a big fan of the website but I'll look harder as we get closer to 2023.
  14. Do you remember how much an individual beer costs. I'm guessing tops $8/beer. At $77.99/day plus 18% gratuity I would have to drink 8 beers plus a few soft drinks to cover the cost. Thanks
  15. Great question. I was just going to ask. Sailing on the Oasis in March. Do you get any freebies after the tour? I did one on the Island Princess many years ago and got some nice stuff at the end.
  16. This is going to be my first time on Royal Caribbean, and I think all of their extras are overpriced. Except maybe their soda package. Not a fan of their website either, but maybe I have to get used to it.
